A perfectly still, serene evening to do some night photography, UNTIL... 5 hr later the wind was roaring through our campsite at 100km/hr wind gusts, the noise of trees creaking & leaves flapping kept us awake most of the night. Our tent set up was sweet though, she held up no worries. Shot on #sonya7ii
I dunno about you guys, but Emu's scare the hell outta me😧 This bugger at Lorella Springs definitely thinks he's the Boss around town!! We met some great people during our 10 days out here at Lorella, but I reckon poor Stace from Knight Travel Tales will have nightmares about this encounter for a while😂😂 Sound on for a laugh! #lorellasprings#emuencounter

Grace got behind the camera for this one and I think she did a pretty great job 👏. It doesn’t take a lot of encouragement for her to try new things. She’s usually just like “I’ve got this Dad 🙄” And then proceeds to do an amazing job at whatever it is. #dadlife
Can’t go wrong with a good sunset and a gorgeous location to work with ☀️📷

🏳Byron Bay, Australia
ℹFunfact: Byron Bay is one of the most visited tourist towns on the New South Wales coast. The town quickly gained a reputation as the place to be among the 'hippy' community, leading to the establishment of the thriving tourist town that is so well known today. Although its 'alternative' roots are still strongly evident, nowadays Byron Bay welcomes all kinds of guests.

When you’re on a hike and all you can think about is the food you get to demolish at the top, and not the epic view you’re about to witness...
Anyone else guilty of this?🤦♀️
The weekend is finally here! Time to relax and catch up with family and friends 👌🏼

Camping spots like this 👌
Love a good sunset but recently some of the best colours have been coming from the other way. It's not a bad way to end the day or to set up camp with when we pull in a bit late 😏
Purple and pink hues are our nightly standard at the moment 💜
Back when I worked in finance, the days would pass me by, each practically identical. I looked forward to whatever milestones I had coming up in the year - whether it be a weekend away, an overseas holiday or even a big social outing. I ‘looked forward’ to them so much that I mostly wished away the days in between milestones.
Today, I almost have an allergic reaction thinking about living that way.
Every day is so precious to me now and I’m no longer as interested in what’s coming up next, than what is happening now.
However, I do have big dreams so it is necessary to have some kind of forward planning.
But for someone like me, who is perpetually in flux and who loves this about herself, long-term plans make me feel kinda claustrophobic.
What has worked well for me, is dialling in my values and ensuring I live every day in alignment with them.
(They are exploration, creativity + connection, by the way. And they translate to physical/mental discovery, exposing myself to/creating some kind of art and investing my whole heart into all my interactions + relationships)
Because they are my innate drivers, they are directly linked to my big dreams - even if it’s not immediately apparent.
I have found that by staying true to them, I more or less float along the path that will lead me to achieving these big dreams - even when these dreams change shape.
It’s not as measurable or exact as checking specific tasks off a list or hitting quantifiable targets…but it works for me 🤷🏻♀️
How do you stay on track to getting what you want out of life?
