Bhagavan explained: "The only freedom one has is to strive for and acquire the Jnana which will enable him not to identify himself with the body. The body will go through the actions rendered inevitable by prarabdha (destiny) based on the balance sheet of past lives, and a man is free either to identify himself with the body and be attached to the fruits of its actions or to be detached from it and be a mere witness of its activities."
🌑🌒🌓stop and observe🌗🌘🌑~
• This piece flowed out of my essence last year. It kickstarted a type of style that I am still experimenting with now, more of a visionary/psychedelic/geometrical flow. This work was at a time where I had a thousand things going on in my head at once. That day I was feeling quite anxious, I was searching for equanimity, I had lost how to clear and calm my mind. I started drawing this piece, and as It got close to being finished I realised that I had been meditating on the symbols that I had been drawing. I noticed that the constant chatter in my mind had fled, I felt equanimity once again. I decided to keep this work black and white, as too not get distracted by colours. To simply ‘stop and observe’ the line work, delve into them. After I finished this work, I learnt a lot about my mind. How controlling it is, how easy it is to slip into negative thinking patterns. I developed an awareness to when I would be getting sucked into these types of thinking patterns and was able to accept that they are there, forgive my mind for thinking like this, and was able to let go of them. What a journey!! ~
Just like my choice to not add distracting colours, don’t be distracted and sucked into anxious thoughts. Those thoughts are not you, you are purity, light and love. 💜🙏💜~
