It's not even spring yet at home in Bulgaria but in my heart it's summer all year round because happiness has permanently settled itself there. Maybe because I'm one of those girls who have learned to appreciate what they have and be thankful for everything. And eventually that turns out to be the key for happy life. How a durian tastes depends a lot on the harvest method and how long in the fermentation stage you eat it. There's a lot you can do to tweak and control a durian flavor, and that's partly why, 8 years down the road, I'm still so interested fascinated and engaged with what makes durian taste like durian. How do you like your Durian? 😍😋
Learning something new is always fun when you get to taste it! 😋🤤and mangoes are so ridiculously tasty. Happy we can bring our April #duriantour group to this small farm on the way to Durian Land from Bangkok. We tasted 5 kinds of mangoes -- ones missing in this photo! From left to right: Okrong, Nam Dok Mai, Khai Ton, Khiao Sawaoi (spelling help anyone? 😂) But my favorite was the missing one, Gao Kha Min, which they said originates in Cambodia. Maybe we will see it there very shortly (*spoiler*)!
