Mark Hamill on Carrie Fisher: “She was a handful, but my life would have been so much drabber if she hadn’t been my friend. When I think of her, she’s looking down from the celestial stratosphere with those big brown eyes, that sly smile on her face, as she lovingly extends me the middle finger."

🌈🧡Happy birthday to the man who I fulfilled my dream of seeing last year (and also saw Ringo at the same time, but that’s a story for another day!).
🌼From the moment I entered the arena, I was in a state of intense unshakeable happiness, euphoria, and just a whole lot of raw emotion which lasted for the entirety of the concert.
🌼Of course I don’t feel those things as intensely in my day-to-day life as I did for the 3 hours I was in the same room listening to Paul perform no less than 40 songs. But, I listen to his music through every single emotion one could possibly feel- and that’s the beauty of it.
🌼No matter what’s going on in my life or the lives of millions of other fans, Paul’s music always seems to fit. It always has a place. It always creates a sense of belonging- belonging to what exactly I don’t know. All I know is that it doesn’t matter if you’re listening alone or with friends, there’s something extraordinarily special within his music which just enables you to identify with whatever you wish to. It sets a spark of positivity off within me, and a desire to live happily no matter what I’m going through.
🌼All of these feelings, whether felt at a once in a lifetime concert or on a daily basis, sum up just how extraordinarily brilliant and truly magical Paul McCartney is, and always will be. Happy birthday Paul, and here’s to much more! More birthdays, albums, concerts, and more happiness.🧡🌈

The rarest piece in my music collection isn't a record, but this little piece of paper. ⭐ This is an original handbill from Queen's Wednesday November 13th 1974 concert at Winter Gardens in Bournemouth, England. I bought it from the original owner who attended this concert and neatly tucked this in his pocket. This concert was in support of my favourite album of all time: Sheer Heart Attack, which had been released just 5 days prior to this concert! The poster features the iconic @officialqueenmusic photo shot by @therealmickrock for the cover of Queen II earlier that year (what a fucking year 1974 was for Queen!!). I will forever cherish this little piece of music memorabilia 🧡
