We are so thankful to Alicia Schwede, of @flirtyfleurs, for the past 3 1/2 years of service as Industry Liason on our Board of Directors!
Our industry liasons help us to better serve our customers and donate a significant amount of time out of their busy floral schedules to inform us on customer needs and perspective.
We could not do what we do without them!
Additional thanks to Miles Johnson (not pictured), of @fioriflorals, who concluded 3 years in March of this year!
We are thrilled to announce Anne Bradfield, of @floressencellc , as our newest SWGMC Industry Liason. She joins Erin Shackelford, of @camasdesigns (not pictured). Thank you to all of our customers, for supporting our farmers in whatever capacity you do. We value your feedback and input immensely!
Just admiring this gallery & Nicole’s sweet fluffy summer bouquet in soft warm tones with all sorts of texture! can’t wait to start designing for this weekend. also, check out our story for some fun BTS from the Painted Hills yesterday!

B E F O R E & A F T E R @carnationfarmsweddings
After four days at Carnation Farms we have already jumped into our next project for this coming weekend. I still haven’t had a moment to fully appreciate all that transpired over the weekend or thank all the people involved who helped make these days possible. But I will..soon!
I dare you to create something beautiful today and don’t show anyone or tell anyone about it. Just enjoy the process, don’t worry about the outcome and make sure it’s weird. Let some things be too sacred for the World Wide Web, while also allowing yourself the space to create without wondering how it will be perceived.
It's been flowers flowers flowers over here, and will be for the next 3 weeks as well! Not mad about that at ll. If you missed our stories this past weekend, we were able to play with SO many flowers grown by the Groom's mother, grandmother and friends. What a sweet treat! We're always up for a challenge.
AND now on to the next one! We've been in prep mode picking up even more vases, tying ribbon on pashminas, making lists upon lists upon lists. We have a whole army of assistants and floral freelancers for this week. Stay tuned!
This relaxing photo by @kerryjeannephoto brings me back to the beautiful lavender field for the retreat in July with @floratherapie.flowers . Seems like just last week, my how this summer has FLOWN by!
When it comes to taking pictures, I know I'm an amateur. So I tend to shy away from posting any of my own shots on my feed. But these cute centerpieces were worth sharing early I think. What do you think?
Corner swag using olive branches, Italian ruscus, silver dollar and feather eucalyptus, hint of plumosas, accented with playa Blanca rose, dendrobium orchids, blushing brides and bunny grasses. #welcomesign#swag#cornerswag#wedding .
Thanks to all yesterday for the birthday wishes! It was the perfect weekend celebrating another lovely trip around the sun! Now back at it + getting ready for a rad shoot at the painted hills tomorrow!

I love the space a big table gives you to design with movement and interesting composition!
Elegance embodies. Sometimes you have to let your work speak for itself. This image reposted from @infullbloomflorist let the centerpiece do the talking, and it made both the arrangement and the venue looking spectacular! Proving that sometimes it’s less about the editing apps you are using and more about the work you are creating! @bournemansion ⠀

When the bride wants bouquets to represent gem stones. ✨magic happens ✨ . Moonstone . Rose Quartz . Citrine . Moonstone .
All of these flowers were grown by local farmers (except the tropicals which get shipped in from Hawaii) and purchased at @seattlewholesalegrowersmarket .
Mel and Lee’s wedding at Deception Pass was beyond beautiful and I can not wait to share more photos by @jacquelyn.portolese
Keep your eyes peeled y’all
These pretty little things are alstroemerias. A rare request in wedding floral, but they have been a favorite of mine in bouquets for years. I get to wrap up “wedding season” in a couple of pretty awesome venues. #chihulygardenandglass this weekend. #seattleweddingflorist

This was the sweetest rainy elopement we got to be a part of! One of my fav details was this table cloth - we had the bride pick out a quote that would remind her of home & @oldcity_mailroom hand lettered it for us beautifully!

For as much love as this photo has gotten lately, I realized I haven’t shared it here! This was a five minute throw together bouquet, with flowers pulled from centerpieces and a different bouquet. When photographed on film with an intricate gown in a beautiful rose garden, it became something more than the sum of its parts.
