We often let fear and doubt get the better of us. We let it hold us back from doing the things in life that may just end up being the most exciting ride we've ever taken. You never have to accept that 'this' is your life. If you want MORE you simply need to tell yourself today is the day, I'm not going to hesitate. So many possibilities, but nothing will ever change if you don't try.
This is your place—and you’ll know it as soon as you pass through the gate. You’ll feel it. From the reclaimed 200-year-old cedar beams to the ornate Mexican tile and slate flooring, this unique home is truly something to behold. The main house includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms, while a casita offers two more bedrooms and one bath. A beautifully restored trapper’s cabin and a bunkhouse are also set on the sprawling 113-acre property. Around each corner of this breathtaking residence, you will be in awe absorbing the rich history and attention to detail. Originally built by an artist, no feature has been overlooked. The main ranch house is designed around a Trombe wall, a special feature that captures and recycles heat from the sun during the colder months to warm the house, while a wood-burning fireplace and a hot water heating system add extra comfort. Those who love to entertain will adore the beautiful deck and patio area where you can host family and friends around the fire pit. Catering will be a dream in the well-appointed kitchen complete with mahogany cupboards and ample counter space. Offering peaceful, luxurious living at its absolute finest, you will love to sit back and admire elk on the property or explore the land. This is an extraordinary home and a once in a lifetime opportunity. Interested? DM for more...
I wasn't outdoorsy, I had never climbed a mountain, didn't know what hot springs were, and the thought of hiking more than a couple miles was a joke.😂 Today I got back to Denver after a 25+ mile backpacking trip through the San Juan Mountains, some of the most unforgiving and remote terrain in the state... and I fucking loved it! 💯🗻 It's funny how things change for you when you actually go through with making big life moves.✨ #TakeTheLeap#MakeTheMove#NeverLookBack#HeresYourSign#BYBS
Get ready for a mid-winter mini getaway! Texas Tulips' newest field is currently underway at 15122 FM 775 in La Vernia, about 75 miles southwest of Austin. The operation allows patrons to stroll through massive rows of tulips and cut their own flowers from a field of thousands of blooms.
According to owner Pieter Koeman, Texas Tulips should open in mid-February 2020 and close in late March/early April, depending on the weather.

The reason ppl can’t scale is often times fear. Fear of spending money on a new hire.
Fear and lack of tolerance to “lose” money on testing new ad creatives and campaigns.
Fear of taking time off to focus on creating a new bolt on opportunity.
Fear is caused by the mindset of loss. You feel you will lose something rather than gain. Lose money on a hire. Lose money on a campaign. Lose time on a focused trip or time off.
Really the loss is in the fear of staying where you are. The fear of not investing actually holds you back and keeps you where you are often times makes you go backwards. Because if you are standing still you are falling behind.
This becomes liability. Rather than building assets you now fall on complacent liabilities as your mechanism of growth.
Fear is associated with pain. Very little people realize that growth is ALSO associated with pain. To grow you will have to go through growing pains. That’s why this is even a saying.
So replace fear with growth and you will watch yourself grow faster than you thought possible.
When I opened up TrishTacSew 5 years ago, I never knew the extent of happiness it would bring me teaching your children how to sew. I started my small sewing school with the hopes of offering a safe, nurturing place to teach what I love. I also hoped to impart humor, kindness, empowerment and confidence along the way. I received so much more than I ever gave. Truly. Teaching your children has brought be more happiness than any job I've had.
However, with life comes change. Ben and I have decided to move to our Palm Desert home permanently after Naomi graduates from high school this summer and heads off to college. We had not planned on moving so quickly - when we purchased it last year, it was more of a vacation/pre-retirement home - but the Bay Area has become too crowded, too intense, and too expensive. So we upped our timeline to help find some peace in our lives as we become empty nesters. .
I will continue to teach summer camps and private lessons throughout July and will be closing my San Mateo studio on July 31, 2019. I plan to continue teaching in Palm Desert, and hope to make more cute products to sell. If any of you come down that way....PLEASE COME SAY HI!!!!! .
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for letting me be a part of your children's lives. They are amazing sewing ninjas and more importantly loving, smart, strong young women. They will continue to be my creative inspiration for sure. .
Thank you again and again... .
PS: Here are some pics of me in my new studio (in which I painted one wall my favorite teal color!) in Palm Desert!!! And mock-ups of my new signs that are being made. More pics to come as I slowly move stuff in.

Cheers to this #bossbabe for closing on her first home in ATX!! The sheer amount of laughter we shared during this transaction is priceless. Educating buyers and walking them through the process one of the many reasons I love what I do. Clients who turn into friends is always a nice bonus too. ❤️
