🤓Calf Muscles Training.
Before I continue, I did Barbbel Hip Thrusts thats why the umm yeah haha 😛.
😵Ahhh some people's worst nightmare the Calf Muscle. You see some people that dont even train in the gym and have such large mass calf muscles but theres people in the gym that "work them out" and they look like toothpicks.
☠️The calf muscle is one of those muscles that is really on the genetics side. Someone people tend to have more of a percentage, of Type 2 Fibers in there gastrocnemius(calf) compared to their Type 1 Causing them to be able to add mass quick and easier.
🔥The calf muscle requires alot of intensity to grow, you cant just do 3 sets of 10 one day a week and be done. I personally push my calf to failure 3 times a week and I mean till failure. Once im done with that last few reps, my legs are like jelly.
🔰My calf workout ( Choose 3 days a week, with at least 1 day rest inbetween).
🛑🏋️♂️When picking a weight, make sure that last 1-2 reps are a struggle to get through.
Day 1: (Heavy Weight Day).
👉Standing Calf Raise - 3 Sets of 6.
👉Seated Calf Raise - 3 Sets of 8.
Day 2: (25% less then the weight you used on Heavy Day).
👉Calf Raise on Leg Press - 3 Sets of 10.
👉Standing Calf Raise - 3 Sets of 10.
Day 3: (Same weight as day 2).
👉Seated Calf Raise - 3 Sets of 15.
👉Standing Calf Raise - 3 Sets of 15.

Today was one of those days where everything in the gym felt 3x heavier than it normally does. I woke up with a sore throat, and idk if it was that or what, but my lift was definitely not 🔥🔥🔥.
I did my best, pushed through, and got it done. Not every lift is going to be AMAZING, and that’s okay🤷🏼♀️ Just hoping this sore throat doesn’t turn into anything else, cause home girl ain’t got time to be sick👏🏼.
