A duvet cover consists of two rectangles sewn together on all but one side to create a sleeve for the duvet, which can be taken off and washed. When no other blankets are lain atop the covered duvet, it can provide several advantages over a top sheet. First, respecting sanitation, with a top sheet the bed occupant could accidentally in the night remove the barrier between themself and the duvet (which is less washable); with a duvet cover this is impossible. Second, for households with children, a bed with a covered duvet is easier to make: the child need only tug the corners of the duvet back towards the corners of the bed. Tucking in a top sheet before arranging the duvet is an extra step. Third, switching a duvet cover is a cheaper way to change color schemes than buying a new comforter.
However, a top sheet has its own advantages. First, a tucked-in top sheet can provide a comfortable feeling of snugness that duvets cannot, as duvets are not usually large enough to tuck under the mattress. Second, top sheets allow a wider range of blanket choices besides duvets, such as quilts. Sheets are also much easier to replace after being washed, because duvets can be difficult to insert into a duvet cover. Using a duvet instead of a top sheet also prevents a bed user from removing blankets during the night without being completely without cover.
💚 Happy to be sharing my work in Quito. 🌳
#khôra#nature#knowledge#body#sensitivity#art#photography#arteenquito
“John answered, "A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven. You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, 'I am not the Christ, but I have been sent before him.' The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. He must increase, but I must decrease." He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all. He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony. Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

Other factors hydration impacts.
- Maintaining cellular shape and structure
- Supporting the excretion of waste through our kidneys and intestines
- Storage of nutrients
- Maintaining concentration gradients and balances
Where does the general public get there fluid from:
- 60% from drinks (water, tea, coffee)
- 30% solid food
- 10% from oxidative metabolism
Losses of fluid:
- Evaporation from skin and lungs
- Excretion from kidneys and in faeces
🔷️With the above, the more demand we put on these systems the higher the loss will be. E.g. a high protein diet may increase fluid output of the kidneys🔷️
Why we cant rely on thirst to avoid dehydration:
An identifiable cue of thirst is dryness in the mouth, creating a conscious drive to drink. This however, is usually too late and it becomes a case of fighting losses. .
Physiologically, a reduction in blood volume & cellular dehydration and primary drivers.
I cant get across enough the importance of hydration for general health and wellbeing and performance. With that said I will be continuing this series with a part 3. So please do stay tuned!

Keep grinding work hard when life get too difficult. Jeff Bezos today is now net worth 157.3 Billion dollars
I LOVE person I am becoming! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s so important to praise yourself on the development you have made from within. Each and everyday, praise yourself in regards to how far you have come a few weeks ago, a few months ago, and a few years ago. Praising yourself and thanking yourself most importantly, will remind you and motivate you to continue to become the best version of yourself. The kindest version, the happiest version, the most loving version, and the most grounded version. Whatever you may wish to become, you certainly can.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Remember to thank yourself. Sit down for a moment, and think and visualise how far you have come. What type of person was you two years ago? I think about it a lot and I am so thankful to myself for what I have overcome. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also remember, everyday is an opportunity for improvement. Small improvement matters! Things don’t instantly happen over night, it takes patience, practice, time and dedication. It’s just important to remember all we have is the ‘NOW’, and what you do with your today, will impact your tomorrow.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I get excited everyday thinking, “How am I going to enhance myself again with another day that I have?”. I love to be as kind as possible, compassionate and always always show love. That’s what makes me happy as a person. Showing unconditional love and affection towards others. It makes me feel great knowing I have the power to make myself and others feel loved. It’s for free too! (Win win!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today, I thank myself for where I am today, in this current moment. Sometimes nobody will ever know your struggle that you have been through, only you, because you were the only person to feel that pain. I am so grateful that I had the power and changed my mindset. I only wanted to become a better human, and I am so excited for my journey on becoming my best version, the woman I am and aspire to be!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank yourself for the small changes you are making daily to become the person you have always needed. Small changes are life changing sacrifices that we should be so proud of. Thank yourself. ❤️

Summertime ending can cause a lot of emotional distress. You might be feeling sadness, guilt, regret, panic and like the whole month of September is filled with blues from the realization that time is passing you quickly, but you don’t have to feel like this. On the blog today read my tips on how to deal with the end of summer depression.
I believe anything is possible. I see opportunity when others see impossibility. I take risks. I’m focused. I hustle. I know that nothing is unrealistic. I feel overwhelming love. I embrace my childlike wonder & curiosity. I take flying leaps to the unknown. I contribute to something bigger than myself. I create. I learn. I grow. I do. I believe it’s never too late to start a dream. #dream#achiever
