#DutyCalls .... My lawn service provider went out of business, so back at it again, but with my battery operated lawnmower!! No more gas fumes and bad carburetors!! I am too picky about my yard anyway. 🤣😂 #MindOverMatter#GoodExercise#PainPrep Yes I do it all!!🤔 #ArmyStrong#GetItDone My neighborhood is very competitive with these manicured lawns. Only a few women brave the battle! LMBO!! Where is my future husband!!??🤔 but I have always edged, cut grass, etc. 😘❤
Thaaat Coast Is One Beautiful sight to Behold and the only way you can is from an Aircraft~
It's never easy to leave my home state. And this time, RIGHT before Resurrection Easter Sunday! But I gained solace in that really cute Bunny on the wing of the plane! A pleasure to look at while in flight!
I may have been looking at that bunny and all of the beautiful sights...
BUT THINE EYE (my spiritual eye) was ON The Lord Thy God...He Who Made Heaven and Earth! Brought me through many storms🌧... including the one I flew through yesterday to land in NC🌩~ #PraiseHIM 🙏👏 #MissingHomeAlready#DutyCalls#Responsibilities#LifeOnTheRightCoast#HomeWillAlwaysBeTheLeft 💙
The true measure of a man is not in what he has obtained in life, but in what he has given to others. This Giving Tuesday, I am partnering with @life and their Smart Home Program, helping catastrophically injured service members reclaim their independence. Learn how you can give back. #workhardpaysoff#dutycalls#manbestfriend#goodafternoonvibes
There’s no manual or rule book for #motherhood
There are only wonderfully and beautifully made mothers. Mothers that are open to share what works and doesn’t work. Which also means that you need to find what works for YOU!
Here’s are some things that worked for me:
1) Stop looking at other moms
When I had three children I used to compare myself to Instagram moms that seemed to have all their shit together. How the hell do they get their kids to keep still, how do they have time, how do they do it?! After a little time and now going on five- I kicked that bad habit and kicked it fast. Because I realized., Their lifestyle, family life, expectations and plans for their families were VERY different from mine.
I did a lot of self-reflection and focused on what I wanted for my family (spiritually, financially, daily living and growth). I wrote them down and wrote the steps I needed to achieve in order to get there.
2) Find what’s important to you
You know how you have the non-negotiable where you don’t give up time or effort for these specific things?
Well I made “mom-negotiables” which are mom things that I simply cannot let fly in my household.
These can be anything like morning prayers, dinner on the table, church on Sunday, Friday night family time, movie night, etc. the traditions and things you will ensure happen for your family regardless.
3) Time Block time for you
This is the time you need to rejuvenate, recharge and reevaluate your life.
With multiple kids this is an extreme luxury. When my kids were younger my time block was a short 15 minutes. It consisted of prayer, a 5 minute workout and some meditation time.
I woke up earlier or went to bed later to ensure I had it. I now have more kids and more time for me. #gofigure
Many times I needed waaayy more than that. Like a massage or a real vacation but I didn’t have that luxury. I also had to come to terms with myself and not only admit it but be perfectly okay with it! 💥You will not be able to give any of yourself if you don’t allow yourself time to breathe. Be patient, be willing and be mindful about this.
PS my kids love @crocs if you haven’t noticed. 😂

After all, the best part of holiday is perhaps not so much to be resting urself, as to see and knowing all my other fellows busy working.. That face tho! 😂
Oh you know just the standard dry fire video where practice makes perfect and where budget meets practical training. You do NOT need ammo to build a solid presentation/draw, all you need is 10 minutes or more a day of dry fire and repetition. Of course having a stockade of ammo is optimal but when resources are not readily available well, make due and make it count. As always stay safe and aware when around or using firearms. (This was just after waking up from a nap, if you have time then commit to the grind) #ARStraining#Slow#Fast#Faster#Fastest#dutycalls#Glock#safarilandholster#sendit#MiCasa
We all have that tough week where we just want it to end & just go elsewhere & not think about the reality! .
Unfortunately, we can’t and we have to face the reality in front of us.. I received a letter & call from Sophia Medical Team asking if we were ready for what’s to come.. and of course I said yes without a doubt.. Then she asked me if we were mentally & emotionally ready for what’s to come and that’s when I broke down.. because honestly, parenthood is hard as it is.. and nope i don’t think I’m ready.. I mean who would be?? But we have to put a brave face and smile.. .
It’s ok to vent, it’s ok to cry & it’s ok to know your not ok... and there isn’t anything wrong with that.. but I know from this we will overcome ❤️ Mommas, There is a Light in the end of the tunnel somewhere ❤️🤞

“My philosophy is basically this, and this is something that I live by, and I always have, and I always will: Don't ever, for any reason, do anything, to anyone, for any reason, ever, no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you are with, or where you are going, or where you've been, ever, for any reason whatsoever." - Michael Scott
