- Yes. But stretching “every once in a while” doesn’t cut the mustard. You need to stretch at least three times a week to see results or your body will forget the work you’ve done and tighten back up.

It's Sunday morning and 5 year old me wants to tell you let us not worry about what other people think or say about us, all it is, is them projecting their own inner stuff on you, when people "tear down" I don't get upset with them, I feel bad for them, deploy empathy for those around you who are negative and try to bring you down or those people who leave awful comments in your head ... they are hurting but they shouldn't impact you on how you see yourself... let's define ourselves for our selves today, because when you do you actually start doing and when you start doing, you start learning and when you learn you adjust and make shit happen.

Just like you, some days I wake up, and my body is exhausted, like I got hit by a truck; I need, minimum, 3 more hours of sleep; or I’m overhung. And in that moment when I sit in the feeling, I want to pick up the phone and cancel commitments, and ask for someone to cover my class, and all those ‘dog ate my homework’ thoughts come through my head. But no. I start thinking of how many people, even if just 1, set their alarm early and planned their next day. How many people, even if just 1, planned to start their day by training. How many people, even if just 1, need this class or session, for not just their body, but for their mind. And I start to think how good you feel after you train. The endorphins that buzz through you, and the domino effect of the rest of your day. I’m responsible for a lot of people to receive that. And I’m also responsible for a lot of people to be robbed of that if they booked my class or a PT session. And because of that, (unless seriously sick and contagious) I show up.. and when I’m there... it all goes away. Something weird happens when the mic is on. Or when I’m one-on-one with someone and we’re in that space. Mind over matter is not just a cliche saying to me now.. it resonates with me so much after this experience. I started to think about how I can put feelings of exhaustion, hangovers, sleep deprivation, etc, away somewhere. And it’s something we all have in us and are able to do once we really value and care about something. We won’t let anything, especially ourselves, get in the way. It’s easier to do it for other people and when you know someone’s counting on you. But what about doing it for yourself and counting on yourself? At some point, I realized how if this was my own training session or a class I had booked and I woke up feeling all those things, I wouldn’t have the same thought process about letting myself down, and not following through with the commitment. I’d have it in me to not show up. Soo, I challenge you to commit to yoself the way you would for someone else. Push through the excuse that’s so easy to grab, and remove the covers. Put your feet on the ground, and go. Try it. Don’t no-show yourself. [cont’d]
At times I actually use a shaker to take my @ehplabs_me RPMAX pre-workout although you guys know most times I just throw it straight in my mouth 😝 Get it 💪 #TeamEHP .

5 TIPS TO START YOUR WEEK STRONG!
1. Wake up early and start your day off doing some sort of exercise. Whether that be sweating it out at the gym, going for a nice walk or maybe even sunrise yoga. .
2. Stop sweating the small stuff (like those lovely sweat patches) Life is going to throw you curveballs. Shit happens. Dont allow yourself to sit there and dwell on them.
3. You ruined your diet over the weekend....so fckn what? Don't let one or two failures stop you from getting back on track and trying again.
4. Learn to give. Giving doesn't have to be materialistic. Give out positive energy as it will only bring that positivity back to you. .
5. Surround yourself with only a handful of friends that will encourage you and truly want to see you succeed!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
