are you also wondering what is it?🤓 nothing special, just #clay#teapot that has its own passport 😂😁 its the source of my #perfectmorning the entire week already and dont know how to thank my #chinese nicholas for such undeserved surprise 😍 in #china there is an old tradition of brewing #tea in clay teapots and among it #yixing clay is extremely famous (according to the legend it is said to be in use since 15th century). i heard of it long time ago (in the museum😃) but frankly speaking never took it seriously (or maybe teapots never took me seriously😁) and thought its just another annoying marketing strategy to make you sell kidney in order to buy a tiny teapot. but (!) i was wrong and i am very glad about it 😁 the tiny clay pot indeed influences the teataste and especially now i am into pretty intense yan #tea (on your left) and have impression its the best what i have ever drunken so far 😊 according to the instruction the clay will absorb some particles of the tea over the time, will form kind of coating and the teataste will get only better 😍❤ thats why one pot should be used only for one type of tea and i will try to stick to this recommendation. so yes, no wonder that the entire week full of assignments was dedicated to the types of clays, forms of teapots and brewing instruction 🙏🤓cause there will be another hundreds of assignments but first clay teapot happens only once 😃❤ haha, now it is also #yourcupoftea 😊🙏 #wanderlust#vagabond#nomadnotes#dharmabum#travelgram#travelnotes#tealover#tearoom#merrymoments#campuslife#sinology#mindfulness#positivevibes#zen#unbearablelightnessofbeing#simplepleasures#hedonism
Well, no - skating actually is not ‘an important mode of transportation’ in the Netherlands (as American journalist Katie Couric explained the Dutch domination in Olympic speed skating earlier this year). 🙄 But it’s ‘an important mode of having fun’ for sure! 🤗
And it has been for ages too - and not only for sporty fanatics eternally praying for a new ‘Elfstedentocht’ (a 199-kilometre skating tour through eleven historical Frisian towns). We skate whenever we can, regardless of IF we actually can. Because having plain fun should never have to require any talent or special abilities; just go!
So, to get you in the mood, here’s some impressions of skating at TU/e from 1970 until now. Be sure to give it a try yourself at the TU/e Christmas Market (at the MetaForum markethall) until next Wednesday. ⛸❄️🎄
