I may have fallen, but not fallen too low
Remember my words as they go in a flow
You may have picked me apart piece by piece
You're not unbreakable either, stop pretending please
How carefully your words were woven so well
Once heavenly but now as black as hell
You may not understand what I've been through
Fading heartbeats, yet simply beating for you
Not in love nor in hate, nor ever with any thought
You knocked me down once, this is what you've brought
I will remember well how you played so well, so unfair
But such is life when the one you love never even cared
My doors will be opened for you always and forever
But the very thread once connected has now severed
You may have set on this path for your means only
You too will find me when you'll end up being lonely
My moment will come in time, failure's not an option
I will be stronger than ever, this is my resurrection
Remember that what goes around comes around
When you'll be down as I was and one will be found.
I suppose his appearance would have been more appropriate had I been reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
The days are getting shorter and cooler here in the PNW. My favorite time of year. I love reading out in the crisp, cool air. It’s rejuvenating.
What’s the weather like right now where you live?

I want to hear about your love for fairy tales.
Which ones were/are your favorite? Or are now your favorite to read to your little ones?
