"Life. This morning the sun made me adore it. It had, behind the dripping pine trees, the oriental brightness, orange and crimson, of a living being, a rose and an apple, in the physical and ideal fusion of a true and daily paradise." – Juan Ramón Jiménez
Sobrang ingay ng makina ng bangka na to tapos lakas pa ng alon. Buti na lang mahilig ako sa rak and rol. Medyo pinilit ko ung joke. Haha. #palawan#pilipinas

Last weekend I was invited to hold space for a circle of Pinay sisters who are seeking to create a collective to support their creation work in the world. Sisterhood is sacred. And it is also a difficult dealing as this world has taught us to be at odds and in competition with one another. On their retreat I held them through the identifying of the challenges of growth, the limitations they have placed on their becoming and we unfolded lessons of sisterhood that begin with honesty and the ability to see one another wholly as the Womxn they walk this world as. I lead them through ritual in connection to their ancestors in honoring of them coming together in their own Union. When we invest in collective work and honor those we work with, we also honor their ancestors. They come with all those in their ancestral and ancient lineage, they come with the many communities that raised them, they come with each exchange that has shaped their existence.
They uplifted lessons and vision through the ceremony held. And grew in understanding of what each sister was holding in the rising of their spirit that sisterhood could support and nurture.
It was a beautiful gift to sit with these sisters and guide them in reflections of self related to each other and to witness and be in communion with their joy.
This was also a very important time for me to reflect on sisterhood in my own life. And to mourn some of the relations that have faded and celebrate those that remain. Thank you @babaylangles@aureliliboo@6161810 & @trishiafrul.la for inviting me and trusting me to holding you all in this process of sewing seeds of welcoming the Sacredness of your coming together. I hope you will invite me again to share with you all.
