We tried the sea urchin and scallops, the daifuku Mochi and croquettes (@themikewat started eating before I could get a pic, we got three things: chicken skewer, octopus and snow crab), apple juice, and some soy + sake (which was really weird). Last two were my favorite! We went back to get more Mochi which was so good and then also as we were leaving we saw this pic of some fish, it turns out that it is the rosy sea bass that was salted overnight - it was soooo good!!!! 😋😋😋 #japan#kanazawa#food#foodie#omichimarket#travel#traveller#explore#explorer#wander#wanderer
‘I thought it was fitting to end my #LPInstaTakeover with a gorgeous sunset. This was the scene that greeted me when I made it to #Kanazawa, one of the most vibrant cities in #Japan. Kanazawa is the best of Japan – it’s a really creative city with an amazing atmosphere, and is one of those places that you’ve just got to immerse yourself in to get the most out of it. I hope over the last few days I’ve shown you how diverse and how beautiful travelling in Japan is – this really is one of my favourite countries in the world.’ – @anadventurousworld -- That's a wrap for this weekend's #lpinstatakeover. Why have normal soft-serve when you can have gold leaf and platinum covered soft serve instead?! 💛🍦The city of Kanazawa produces over 90% of Japan's gold leaf, so it's fitting that they were the first to put it on their ice-creams too! These indulgent soft-serves cost 1000 yen, (approx $12 AUD.) 💛🍦Photo by chef and foodie @adamliaw#VisitJapanAU
