If you know Behike then you appreciate the band in this photo. However this post is less about the cigar and more about who it was enjoyed with. .
This cigar was a gift of a friend who owns a local Cuban Restaurant. His family moved to the US when he was 3 and he is going back for the first time in January.
His chef, who joined us for a smoke worked directly for Fidel Castro opening his restaurant franchises in Cuba, Russia, & Venezuela. .
Sitting with these men over a cigar and listening to their stories of how they were able to get out of the country and all that their families had to endure made me grateful for the life I have lived. .
Doc and Chef are 2 remarkable men with very different stories. But both of them share a love of Behike Cigars and in their words, here is why...
“Because the Mother F*cker (Fidel) never got to smoke one.” .
85 ° degree day! We'll take it!
The weather made us think about a quote from a fav show.
Guess the show and who said the quote and we have a few stogies for you. - "That's like a 40-degree day. Ain't nobody got nothing to say about a 40-degree day. Fifty. Bring a smile to your face. Sixty, shit, cats is damn near barbecuing on that MF'er. Go down to 20, cats get their bitch on. Get their blood complaining. But forty? Nobody give a F about 40. Nobody remember 40, and y'all cats is giving me way too many 40-degree days! What the F?
