One of my students gave me this as a departing gift.
Have no fear you are worth more than many sparrows, Matthew 10: 31
Not only did the parent remember that I had once said I loved this quote, they got it, framed it and gifted it to me 😍 so blessed. Now hanging in my loungeroom.
he’s never going to stop providing for you //
I was sat with a friend recently, talking about God’s provision. God holds all of the money in the world; there is no end to his resources. And yet when He provides for us, he does not necessarily lavish us with all the riches in the world; instead, He gives us exactly what we need in that moment. And then He gives us exactly what we need for the next moment; and the next, and the next.
Why is that? It’s because He is a good Father: like a great Dad, giving his kids pocket money, he provides for us, treats us and rewards us with just enough. He doesn’t need to give us everything in that moment, because He is never going to stop providing for us.
We do not need to fear that He is going to leave us, because that’s not in His nature - He’s the perfect Father, and He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. We can trust Him because He is trustworthy, and He will provide because He is the Father.
I saw this on my Facebook today and something about it just stood out to me. Something so simple but yet so beautiful. I’ve always struggled with having a positive self image but if the good Lord above thinks of me as beautiful who am I to say otherwise? #bibleverse#biblequotes#bibleverses#beautiful
Keep going. Keep standing firm. Keep fighting the good fight. Don't give up. ---> "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." - Isaiah 41:10 NLT

Have you ever seen the incredible movie #warroom ? (It is on @netflix ) In this incredible and moving story, a mother and wife is fighting with her husband, whom’s relationship is falling apart. God then brings a woman into her life, who reminds her that we are not fighting against “flesh-and-blood enemies”, as this verse mentions but, “evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world.” I know, it sounds pretty scary right? It’s enough to try and fight with what we can see, but to fight with what we are unable to see is scary! But I have some GREAT news for you...there is a way where you won’t have to fight this fight because someone will be doing it on your behalf. Someone who has won, is winning, and will always continue to win......GOD! But how will He fight for you and me? All you need to do is pray constantly and consistently to Him. Make time each day to pray to God (and not just a minute or two, but for as long as you feel you really need to and as long as you need to pray for what is on your mind). Because praying is like a spiritual weapon. By praying you are becoming closer to God and further away from the enemy that tries to attack!
And by “fighting the right way”, as mentioned in ‘War Room’-which is praying to God and Jesus-you are them able to have God protecting you and fighting for you.
So don’t tear your relationships by fighting with earthly firms, but pray always to God and Jesus to fight the battle beyond what you can fight alone!
God Bless you 🙏❤️
THE GIFT YOU CANNOT BUY
God does not want to be served in any way that implies we are supplying his need or supporting him or offering him something that he does not already own by right. "Who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?" (Rom. 11:35). "If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are mine" (Ps. 50:12).
Therefore, we simply cannot negotiate with God. We have nothing of value that is not already his by right. We cannot service him. His car never breaks down. It never runs out of gas. It never gets dirty. He never gets tired. He never gets depressed. He never gets caught in traffic so that he can't get to where he wants to go. He never gets lonely. He never gets hungry.
In other words, if you want what Jesus has to give, you can't buy it. You can't trade for it. You can't work for it. He already owns your money and everything you have. And when you work, it is only because he has given you life and breath and everything. All we can do is submit to his spectacular offer to be our servant.
And this submission is called faith--a willingness to let him be God. Trust him to be the Supplier, the Strengthener, the Counselor, the Guide, the Savior. And be satisfied with that --with all that God is for us in Jesus. That's what faith is. And having that is what it means to be a Christian.
Christmas means: the infinitely self-sufficient God has come not to be assisted but to be enjoyed.

WORD FOR TODAY
Zephaniah 3:16-17 KJVS
In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
➜ Proverbs 10:9, He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
⇢Tell the truth the first time and then you won't have to remember what you said. That's basically what God's wisdom is trying to teach us in this passage. Be a person of integrity. Then, when someone finds out your secrets, you can feel secure knowing that you have lived for Godliness. However, a Perverse and Deceitful person has to constantly worry that someone will find him out.
⇢There is no security or assurance in crooked paths, only the certainty of getting tripped up and caught. When the secrets of evil that have been whispered in dark places get shouted from the rooftops, those who have lived for the Lord can be secure, knowing that what gets shouted about them is said with the Voice of God: Well done, good and Faithful Servant!
