For every corner of the earth we go to, home will always be with you. 🌹 - Happy Valentine’s Day from Belize. Hope everyone’s having a ripper day, and if not, getting stuck into some chocolates! - These were just a couple scenes from the romantic dinner @simplysantos and I had at @larubeya under the stars and a couple of coconut trees!

Sometimes you just gotta grab life by the coconuts 🥥 - 4 days into my Belize 🇧🇿 trip and loving it so far. The national language here is actually English, which makes it so much easier to communicate and get to know the Belizean people. I didn’t know much about the country coming into this trip but I’ve been blown away by the hospitality and friendliness of everyone here. They have such an interesting culture and so far this has been my absolute favorite country to visit for ‘luxury style’ travel. - We’ve been staying with @larubeya these last couple of nights in the southern town of Placencia and have been amazed by the resort’s attention to detail and awesome food. Can’t wait to head up north and check out the world class diving in the coming days! Stay tuned 👌🏻

2018 was a year of non-stop travel and adventure and seemed to go by in a flash. Guatapé was one of my favorite finds of the year with its view leaving me in absolute awe. Can’t say I’ve seen many better than this. - Kicking this year off with a bang and heading over to the beautiful Belize 🇧🇿 on Monday, if anyone’s got any suggestions or has visited before let me know! Can’t wait to trade in this New York Winter for some tropical beaches 🥶! 📸: @simplysantos

‘Castillo de San Felipe.’ 🏰 During the 1700’s this fort was used by the Spanish to stop British, French and even Pirate 🏴☠️ invasions on the city of Cartagena. Thanks to its spectacular view over the city and strategic tunnel systems the fortress was never overtaken, although many tried. Including one English invasion where a 23,000 man attack was fended off by only 3000 Spaniards in a bloody battle that resulted in the English retreating. Castillo de San Felipe still stands today as one of the Spanish Crown’s most impressive fortresses. Swipe right for the video! ➡️➡️

Welcome to Comuna 13! 🇨🇴 - Once considered the most dangerous district in South America, this neighborhood has seen massive transformation in recent years. Thanks largely to an urbanization effort by the government, the area which was once home to drug cartels and gang violence has been transformed into a popular tourist attraction. - In 2015, the government installed the first outdoor escalators in the world that would reach all the way to the highest points of the neighborhood and allow the locals to quickly navigate the steep hills. - An art school called Casa Kolacho has also played a large part in the neighborhood’s transformation. By offering an alternative to gang violence, the school teaches children how to paint graffiti, break dance and rap. For this reason the district has become a cultural sanctuary for creative expression and gang violence has dramatically decreased. The colorful walls depict the stories of Medellin’s violent past. A soccer pitch that was once the site for public executions is now a space for children to play. Depictions of elephants are common to see graffiti’d on the walls as they represent long memory. Colombians want to remember what has happened here so that history will hopefully never repeat itself. Comuna 13 now stands as an example to the rest of the world that massive change is possible. - It was definitely a highlight of the trip to Colombia and would recommend to anyone visiting.

Nothing like looking up at the stars to remind you how small you really are. ✨ - This photo was taken on top of one of the highest points of the Dominican Republic, where the Star Gazing is unreal! This night was actually quite cloudy, however we were able to catch just enough of a break in the weather to snap this epic picture. (It’s a little dark to see, but that’s me leaning on the front of the car.) - 📸: @simplysantos

Celebrating my 24th birthday today in my 24th country 🇨🇴 - This last year has been a non-stop adventure. Living out of a backpack definitely has its drawbacks, but it’s opened me up to so many new experiences and allowed me to see places across the world that I’ll never forget. Loving Colombia so far, travelling here for the next 3 weeks so let me know any suggestions if you have them! - For those curious here are the countries I’ve been; 🇺🇸🇬🇧🏴🇵🇬🇩🇴🇨🇷🇧🇷🇦🇺🇲🇨🇲🇽🇨🇴 🇵🇪 🇧🇴 🇫🇷 🇻🇳 🇹🇭 🇳🇿 🇮🇹 🇭🇹 🇨🇦 🇰🇭 🇨🇱 🏴 🇲🇺 Props to anyone that can name them all!

Being from Queensland, Australia I’d never really experienced Fall before and didn’t really understand what all the fuss was about. For us, all it ever meant was a few more leaves in the backyard and a couple more sticks to pick up. That’s why getting to see Fall for the first time in the US this year absolutely blew my mind! Trees turning bright yellow, orange and red everywhere you look is a sight I’ll never forget. More photos to come! 🍁🍂 - Captured on @djiglobal Mavic 2 Pro w/ @Polarpro Filters
