I haven’t lost any weight recently but I wanted to share this #TransformationTuesday post to show you just what a difference your diet makes. Last January, I challenged myself to complete @Whole30. During those 30 days and the months that followed, I lost 20ish pounds. Everyone said “you’ll just gain it back when you start eating normal again.” That’s the thing. Whole30 changed my “normal.” I occasionally drink beer and eat pizza but for the most part, I’m extremely mindful about the foods I eat. I’m a huge advocate for the “you can’t outrun a bad diet” mentality. Regardless what meal plan you follow, fueling your body properly will always pay off in the end. I’ve kept off the weight for over a year and with my 30th birthday approaching I’d really love to hit the 30 pound mark which just means less pizza nights between now and then and alcohol only every other weekend. What steps do you take to clean up your diet?

This morning I used the 30 lb dumbbell for the first time at @orangetheoryfitnessgso. Don’t be afraid to use heavier weights, especially during lunges and squats. Weights make pretty muscles! 💪🏽🏋🏼♀️

Registration for @rundisney Marathon Weekend opens soon! Are you planning to register? I did Dopey in 2016 and 2017 then just the half this January. I haven’t decided which challenge/distance to run yet in 2019 but the itch to register is definitely getting to me!
