So this happened in Arizona this weekend, a car pulled out in front of us and we didn’t have enough time to stop. My car is done but Christian and i are just walking away with bruises and scratches, being in the passenger seat where the car took the most impact was so scary. I’ll never forget the sound of the crash but thankfully we’re okay and that’s all that matters. Now we’re back home and just going to move on and hopefully get a car asap.
Soooo....I got hit today...first car accident I've ever been in. I was not at fault. Left side of my head hurts and I'm not working on orders today. This all happened around noon today. Driver was going 50mph. My car is probably a total loss and if it's fixable I'll do it BUT if the repairs are worth more than the car......well shit. I'd like to repair this though...I love it. The towing fee alone was $217 just to take it off the towing lot since it had to be towed off the road and the ambulance/firefighters insisted I go to the hospital, the dudes car was upside down...I wish I would have taken a photo of the actual accident scene. So I got to ride in an ambulance today...I guess I was in shock because before I arrived at the hospital my head didn't really hurt but my body was uncontrollably shaking and I just felt fuzzy brain but I knew what happened and was happening. Head pain went from like a 2 at the accident spot to a 8 upon arrival at the hospital (hospital ratings). I was scheduled for a head scan....BUT.... because the tow place would have charge another $88 if my car was on their after 5pm, so I checked out and will go back later for the scan (probably a dumb decision but at the time in my head $88 was a lot just for that and hospitals keep you so long! Currently its about a 2 again as i took some pain meds..😕. So called AAA and they towed it to an auto collision near my home. (Also the tow lot fee needed to be paid before they would take it off the tow lot)...my car cameras help with nothing as they are aimed at the back and the front.....time will tell the vehicle damage price....and it may not be worth it. There's another vehicle here so I can still go places. All the car injuries are on the drivers side...the other side is perfect. Dude switched lanes last minute and hit me while I was turning onto the 2 lane road in my clear-to-go lane. Basicly a high speed side swipe. The BEST part of this accident is that my child wasn't in the vehicle. 💕

Sorry that I have not posted in quite some time, but these past two weeks have been CRAZY! For those of you who don’t know, I was in a pretty serious car accident on September 12th. Since then I have been battling both insurances and the person who hit me to get my car fixed. She walked away with hardly any damage whereas I walked away with my entire passenger side messed up.
For awhile there I let the stress get to me, but I’m learning how to regain control over everything and stay on top of things. I posted this photo cause I wanted to give a shout out to my amazing boyfriend. He has let me vent and vent and vent my little heart out about everything without complaint. He listened to me, never interrupting and letting me be heard. He even drove 6 hours total to see me for a few short hours on Sunday because of my car and I am so grateful for him!
Life gets crazy sometimes and it’s important to have people who will hold you down and keep you sane through it all. I wouldn’t trade him for the world. I can’t wait till one day we go from long distance relationship to living with each other. A little over a year left! 💖

Not sure what hurts worse, my neck from being rear ended pretty hard or seeing damage of any kind to this girl 😩
So thankful I took the r32 and not the company car today had I not, things could have been a LOT worse. Just sore and a mild concussion. Tomorrow may hurt worse but I am beyond blessed!
Going through printing out car accident what to do's to give my kids. Because apparently someone plowed into one of them today AND gave expired insurance information to a driver with little experience in such. Sigh.
I'm all maxed out on mental capacity right now. Your gonna have to take a number .
Had my first ever MRI today... it was scary and the extended frozen position triggered some pain ehhh 😬 tbh it wasn't even the closed in space that was terrifying, it was the banging noises 😶
But, I'm determined to get this #whiplash better ASAP because I am destined to go on #australiansurvivor next year 💪💪💪My physio is on board and said he'll tell me in a few weeks if I'll be well enough to apply 😅
@survivorau please consider me as a contender, I've survived this car accident, therefore I can do anything 😎 I have been preparing my audition video and gameplay since before my accident two months ago, and I am not about to let this little backstep get in the way! No way, not me 😘 I've got a great strategy that I can't wait to show you.
And, to anyone who's ever had a whiplash injury, spinal injury or nerve damage, I feel you! And I'm sending my love to you on your recovery journey 💕💕💕

Texting and driving. I’ve done it. I’m also guilty of checking email while driving, looking for restaurants while driving, and even... playing Pokémon Go while driving. I justify it. “It’s a safe road.” “There are no cars.” I somehow believe that just because I’ve never been in an accident, I’m protected. It means I’m a good driver, right?
Today I started a trauma rotation at the local hospital I work at. We see everything that comes in. But most of what we treat are MVCs, motor vehicle collisions - car accidents.
Some people die on scene immediately, but others suffer the consequences of their crash for the rest of their lives. Shattered fingers, leg amputations, skulls fractured so badly the only thing you can say is, “it is what it is.” I always knew that what I was doing was dangerous, but since I had no direct, personal experience, I never truly understood. It’s almost as if I was waiting for myself to crash before I would stop, which is unbelievably foolish. We only have one chance at life.
If you’ve also driven while distracted and were waiting for a sign to quit: this is it. It’s not worth it, and it’s time to stop.
