Levels of Mastery!🔮 . I define the level of mastery by the time horizons that an individual looks to, let me explain: . Factory Worker - shortest time horizon, thinking day to day, focusing on just ‘getting another shift done’, still stuck in the animalistic mind. . Supervisor - thinks weeks to week, attempting to get the best out of their team, again thinking in short term time horizons. . Lower Management - thinks month to month, focusing on the end of month pay packet, and how they can best perform to achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in order to look good to upper management. . Upper Management - thinks year to year, likely thinking about shareholder wealth and building the business they work for for great financial reward. . CEO - thinks decade to decade, now we’re getting closer to the level of mastery. A CEO is building a business to ensure it is around for the next generation to see and benefit from. . Visionary - then we reach the level of the visionary, the Elon Musks, Richard Branson’s and Bill Gates’ of the world. The reason why i’m sharing this is because 92% of Americans, and no doubt many other people around the world simply do not know the fees involved in their investment portfolio💣 . Essentially it means that instead of you getting rich off your investments, your fund manager or the company who manages your fund is getting rich instead, and nobody wants that!🙅🏼‍♂️ . You can see in the example, paying just an additional 2% per year less in fees results in just shy of $330,000 less on your portfolio value at the end of a 30 year term. This could be the difference on whether some of you will be able to retire, or not! . Find Your Purpose🔮 . A lot of people get trapped in the flow of life, working the 9-5 and before they know it they’re 65 years old, ready to retire and haven’t done anything purposeful in their life. This is a common story for the majority of people, but it’s 2019; if this kind of life doesn’t inspire you, then you need to discover your purpose. There are 3 key areas to establish, I would suggest getting a pen and paper and writing this down📝 . What do you enjoy?😄 - write an exhaustive list of every single thing that you enjoy doing. Do you enjoy social media marketing? Do you enjoy cooking? Do you enjoy being creative? . What am I skilled at?🛠 - write down a list of every single thing that you have a skill at; or indeed a skill that you would like to learn. Are you good at social media marketing? Do you have a big following? Are you an amazing cook? What is your speciality? . What can I be paid for?💰 - this is where you combine what you enjoy with what your skilled at and establish whether somebody would pay you to acquire your time, experience or knowledge. . Inspiration vs Motivation🤔 . Do you guys know the true meaning of inspiration and motivation? Many people interlock them as being the same thing, whereas the reality they are vastly different! . Motivation is a short term symptom; you watch a motivational video from Tony Robbins and you are feeling pumped. You’re thinking hell yeah let’s go and make some god dam money. This feeling lasts an hour or so, maybe even a day, but as time goes on, that feeling of motivation slowly reduces if you’re not truly inspired⏳ . Motivation is like heading against the flow of a stream, its tough, takes a lot of hard work, and feels like you’re constantly struggling and ‘hustling’ to get stuff done🥊 . Inspiration on the other hand comes from within, you don’t need any short term moments of motivation to get a rocket up your ass to get going for the day. It’s the thing that will wake you up in the morning with a burning desire and it will be the thing that keeps your mind ticking at night🔥 .
