I spent the beginning of this week at @ebllashes headquarters training with our CEO @lindyewilliams and our California Trainer @elanartistry.oc 🥰 I always learn so much when I’m with my lash family and I’m so excited to share my knowledge of lashes with you! Never stop learning and always set goals to grow. Links to my Austin Classic and Volume EBL Trainings are in my bio 👩🏼🏫 Hope to see you in 2019!

When I started doing Volume I had a very hard time. It was frustrating, stressful and time consuming. Guess what? IT STILL IS! It’s much less frustrating and stressful but it will always be time consuming. It’s a process! Trust that the harder you work today the better you will be tomorrow. 🥰I want all new lashers to know that I still have bad days, sometimes my sets don’t turn out the way I intended. 😢 But each day you learn something new. We are artists with changing canvases, and each canvas comes with it’s own difficulties. Be kind to yourself, this profession is hard! Set small attainable milestone goals for yourself and you’ll find you will meet the bigger goals in no time. Here are 3 things that will help your volume sets look better immediately. 1. Make sure the fan is as close to the base of the natural lash as possible! 2. Consistent fans, symmetry will make your sets looks polished and perfect 3. Make sure your fans are wide and have a thin stem 💕 Happy Friday! #lashkrush#ebllashes#eblbrandrep

Yal know I love a good photo shoot. 🙋🏼♀️Here are a few things that may help you when you plan your next shoot. 1. Models and photographers can be found easily through Instagram hashtags 2. Make sure you shoot at the golden hour if you are shooting outside, that’s the best time for lighting. That’s the hour before sunset or after sunrise. 3. Reach out to other vendors such as makeup artists, local clothing shops and stylists and see if they want to collaborate. This not only helps your split costs but creates more professional photos. 4. Make sure you are looking at the photos throughout the shoot to ensure you get the angles needed. Your photographer will appreciate feedback so that you get what you need. 5. I always apply lashes the day of the shoot so that they are fresh. I have the model open and then make adjustments after so that I know they are perfect. It usually takes at least 4 hours to apply photo shoot lashes. 🖤 I hope these tips help you in your next shoot! Can’t wait to see you create!
