Tous les chalets sont recouverts de neige et depuis le téléphérique, on dirait un village en miniature 😄.
All the chalets are covered with snow and from the cable car, it looks like a village in miniature 😄.
If there was a perfect place to end our travels for the year, it would be Switzerland. Because this trip was somewhat planned on a whim, there was hardly any planning at all. Other than the skiing and Christmas markets, we had no agenda, which turned out to be the best thing for our tired bodies! We strolled aimlessly around some of the most scenic places we’ve ever been to, we chatted incessantly on every topic imaginable, and we tried to live like the locals to experience the Swiss culture we’ve heard such great things about. Today, with very full hearts and even fuller tummies, we are finally headed home! I’m ready for a super low key holiday in the Bay with family and friends! ❤️
Good bye Switzerland, we are headed home today!! This wraps up our travels for 2018, after quite an ambitious year of worldschooling. 14 trips in 11 different countries in 12 months...to say I feel exhausted is an understatement. I’m grateful for this journey, and all that I’ve been able to experience alongside Bridgette. I’m also REALLY looking forward to spending the holidays back home and some normalcy of vacuuming, doing laundry, and cooking nutritious meals...before we do this all over again in January!
When they are glowing...💖⛰
Mountains teach you simplicity! They are simple, they are simply there. But how majestic & beautiful this simplicity ... ✨
Mountains share with you the experience of silence, even of a complete silence if you go high enough. Mountains teach you to listen to the silence. They teach you simply to be....
Happy international Mountain Day!!! 🙏
