Happy birthday to my wife and best friend. Thank you for getting me out and seeing the world. Thank you for putting up with my attitude and listening to me complain about things. Thank you for keeping our little family together. You’re the best and I love you more than you know. ❤️ @a_mar91#china#wedding#zionnationalpark#camping#wifelife
Take me back... really missing adventures like this one! Especially living life on the edge with a 1,500 foot drop under our feet and no life line to hold us up. The adrenaline rush is worth it! Ready for our last adventure together before my best friend heads out into the world with her degree... here’s to the good times we’ve had with many more ahead of us! @breannac_16#angellanding#zionnationalpark#1500footdrop#travelingbuddy
I've done this hike three times over the last three years. On my first trip in 2016 I joined a group of hooligans and went up for sunset, disregarding the bus schedules, and staying up well after dark. I hiked ahead to grab my car three miles one way on the road in the dark, but was cut short by a police officer who shuttled myself and two other guys who were in the same boat back to our cars. The second trip (the image above) was spent in a whiteout. It was March, and for good reasons the park was virtually empty in comparison to the first trip. We stopped short of the summit due to snow and visibility, and meandered down the empty trail as snow silently fell in the valley. One of my favorite memories from this year, and an image I've never shared.
Experienced one amazing sunrise here in Zion. Just as the shuttle bus dropped us off the light was going nuts 🤯

Here’s a view of freshly sugar coated hoodoos as the sun rises over the red sandstone wall. Watching the sunrise here and watching the hoodoos glow bright orange and red is a must see when in Utah! 🍬 #WHPNaturalLight
