Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake -
Zagato is an Italian coachbuilder renowned for its very futuristic and avant-garde design. This coachbuilder has long worked ans still works with Aston Martin but he also worked with other car brands such as Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Maserati and many others. One of the latest project that he've done is the Vanquish Zagato of 2016-2017. Those years, they were offered in 4 distinctive models, Coupe, Volante, Speedster and Shooting Brake.
I will have much more content from Pebble Beach and Monterey Car Week, but for now a quick recap of team @distinctdetailaz. Of the four cars we had on the lawn, two were for display only, and of the two that were judged one took home a third in class!
The hotly contested Zagato class had many entrants with some very heavy hitters, so although drop dead gorgeous, our (one of one) Lamborghini 3500 GTZ didn't place. The Bugatti 57S and Fiat 8V Zagato (one of one) were simply there to be appreciated, and looked stunning all day.
Last, but not least, the Lamborghini Miura that we spent countless hours polishing and prepping was able to sneak out a third in class. This was the owner's first time entering the Concours, as such it is very rewarding to have played a role in him taking home a trophy. This particular Miura was the very same that was featured in the original "Italian Job" movie, and came all the way from Switzerland for the event.
Always an exhausting week, but the memories and successes are always worth it!
