I’m in my 32nd week of growing our little rose. These weeks have gone by faster than I can keep up with my house. I will continue to teach for as long as I am able which brings me to the perfect opportunity to shamelessly offer any private sessions before I’m off for maternity leave; inversions, arm balance, pranayama, yin, yoga for athletes, deep stretch, and vinyasa classes are a few to name.
This weekend the Shenandoah valley gets a pop up prenatal yoga class suitable for all trimesters, tag your expecting mommy friends! .

I am open to everything that life brings. I can influence it, but I can't control it. I've learned over the years that when we try to control too much, we actually create a state of resistance. And what we resist persists. Acceptance is the quickest way to progress. Now I'm not saying you should accept everything and never try to change it - that's an imbalance on the opposite end of the spectrum. But when we stop fighting what is happening and accept it, then we can take actions to control the situation in a way that benefits us. It's a balance practice just life everything else. So keep riding the wave of the great cosmic giggle and do the best that you can. We're all in it together 🙂

I was drawn to the sun, like a moth to the flame. There was beauty in the leaves, the grass, the light, the shadows. And just like that, I was calm. So I walked outside. We hold onto so many emotions that takes control of our lives.
When things happen and it is out of our control we struggle to just be.
All the effort you put into your goals ahead of you may seem so daunting at times.
Then the reward comes way later and the moment all makes sense.
Then we breathe and take it all in.
What if we switched it up and take deep breathes in the moment of the journey, the process, & at the end?
Go with the flow and make peace.
Nothing better than letting go and letting things happen the way its suppose to while you continue to work on yourself.
The sun came out for those who took the risk! 😍🌞 Unfortunately tomorrow morning is not looking as lovely - so there will be no Port Eynon class in the morning. However keep checking in as there will be a class Saturday morning (8-9am) if the weather is looking okay!

I truly joked about this every year to celebrate a month and followed through. I am blessed to say I have friends from different parts of the world to celebrate with near or far.
Make it a mission to celebrate with your friends all month on your birthday month.
You will make it worth it!

Sometimes your body has to tell you what to do and when to stop - it’s the body that knows better than your mind.
And today exactly that happened. I have so many and especially different things and duties to care for at the moment and I want to fulfill them all - 100%. But sometimes it simply doesn’t work out. So after „only“ 5 hours of sleep, 5 hours of civil law classes and studying for exams in two weeks I fell asleep while studying with the hubby. I just fell asleep while he was talking. I was so super exhausted because the days before looked similar. And beside that I try to practice, take pictures, teach, be present for friends and family.
But all I need now is sleep. And I should listen to my body. It will work out anyway 💪🏼
