Taking the time to acknowledge a few good things today:
• My body for being able to move in such fantastic ways
• My mind for moving my body, and for all it can contemplate as it navigates this life
• My voice for allowing me to express myself to others (especially today as I seem to have lost my voice - not ideal for teaching! 😳😂)
• New people who’ve come into my life 🙃
• Existing people in my life who value me enough to keep me in theirs
• Food to eat to keep me nourished and going on this journey
• My home to keep me sheltered and grounded
• A lifestyle that allows me to connect with myself, others, and everything

It is in your nature to pursue something that fills you with purpose. Whether it is an individual pursuit of your own goals or finding someone to build a life with..Pursue everything with genuine intentions and beware of subconscious projections that distort your perception.

Our #flowandslowyogaretreat was amazing, to be continued for sure!! I could spark her yang qualities (which she also has!) in the morning classes, she could calm me down in the afternoon with her nourishing yin classes and together we could serve a beautiful small group #dreamteam .
Working together, living together, parenting together, it’s all worth it! Empowering each other and knowing you are not alone
My focus will be more on working together. Sometimes difficult if you are a yoga teacher, which you often do alone. I like to gather a group of people around me to mirrors and lift me up. To help, to rely on and to enjoy life with #findyourtribeandlovethemhard Work in progress for me

Someone told me the other day that I’m easy to hate. It was the first time anyone has ever said that to me because in real life, no one that knows me would say that they hate me. They would probably say the opposite because for as long as i can remember I’ve wanted to be friends with everyone, or at least make them laugh, or smile at them in an attempt to make their day better. Of course, i haven’t always been my best self, everyday, but i have tried to do so in consciousness.
That person went on, she said “you’re pretty, you have a cute boyfriend, a nice dog, and a passion for life that not everyone has found yet.” -
I’d never really looked from the outside in before but this made me do so. From the outside i am my younger self, i am looking at myself now in bewilderment wondering how i became the epitome of everything i once thought was oh so mainstream. I could instantly see how easy it would be to judge me or envy my life and i cringed. -
I have worked hard to be a good person. I’ve worked hard to never make anyone feel less than in my company, and I’ve worked my butt off to be where i am today, but in no way do i feel the perfection that some may see. -
I know though that others can only meet me as deeply as they’ve met themselves. I know that my younger self could’ve easily felt that pain of not yet finding her path when looking at the older version of herself, and i am immediately reminded to soften around these words. -
Just know this; if you are still on the forefront of your own internal struggle, i promise you that it will end, and when it does, you will be able to stand up as the soul survivor of something no one else will ever know anything about. ✨ -
