To come into the bow pose, begin by laying flat on your belly, bending at the knees. Lift the ribs away from the hips. Roll the shoulders forward for internal rotation. Then reach symmetrically back, grab hold of the ankles and lift the thighs off the ground. Inhale as you kick the legs back to lift your body off the ground. Then roll the shoulders forward and pull, equal force with the front of the body and the back of the body.
Ladder flows yesterday by @diceyoga had me feeling pretty strong. Trying to build strength back and move lots of heat through...im not worried i lost out a little last year, couldnt be helped and now ill come back stronger. Grateful.

An intelligent pose to help lengthen the spine, open the chest, shoulders and relieve mental stress.
I like lingering there, drawing my attention to the extension of my back and the opening of my front body. Then focusing my awareness to my abdonimal muscles. Feeling the length of the belly with each inhale and the contraction drawing my belly in toward the spine with each exhale. Perfect pose to counter the effect of a long day sitting at the desk.
