Did you know that #yellowstone sits on top of an active volcano? Half of the worlds hydrothermal features are found here and the park has an extraordinary collection of hot springs, mud pots and geysers. This is the Porcelain Basin in Norris Geyser Basin and one of the craziest places I’ve ever seen, it felt like another world! Sound on 📢💨🌋
The landscape of Yellowstone is the result many geological processes over the last 150 million years. In the park, the Earth’s crust has been compressed, pulled apart, glaciated, eroded, and subjected to volcanism.
Sometimes you just have to stop and admire the ‘rocks.’

" So many wonderful things to photograph out at @yellowstonenps so until I get more time to edit another location from this trip thought I’d share with you all my Milky Way shot from Grand Prismatic Springs.
We had a group of 6, @tracyleephotos@rachel_jones_ross@smpetersonphotography@brentdangerrose Romen and myself. I ended up spending the evening enjoying the view from a bench on the boardwalk waiting for the Milky Way to perfectly align, but I was in good company so the time passed quickly. I definitely enjoyed learning different tricks and seeing how others photograph, it’s so interesting to see the world through the eyes of another photographer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I can’t wait to visit this place again, with so many photo opportunities and adventures I could’ve easily spent a couple weeks exploring. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’d like to see what we were up to in this location check out my #YellowstoneNPS highlight reel."

Throwback to that one time I was locked in a staring contest with a wolf from the front seat of my car.
It was trotting down the road so I pulled over to let it pass. When it got across the road from us it stopped to look for its mate, then stared at me for a brief moment before continuing down the road and into the trees. 🐺 #YellowstonePledge
The Takacs family explores Hayden Valley, Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Geyser Basin, and Upper Geyser Basin on the 11th day of their summer road trip. Bison road blocks, a mystical foggy morning, bubbling mud, beautiful explosive features, and amazing ice cream make for a perfect day.
All video footage was filmed on a Google Pixel 2XL and Panasonic G85.

Yellowstone is that place where you can see all different beautiful sides of nature. Mountains with snow tops, forests and lakes, rivers and waterfalls. Everything is really really amazing but there is another attraction of the park. That's strange evaporations coming out right from the earth with bright orange-blue pools with boiling liquids.
When you come to place like this you feel like you turn out in this world billions years ago when there were live dinosaurs in our planet.
Just when you think you could never take another bison shot again, this creative miracle happens. The snow was coming down so hard that it was impossible to get great focus. I’m calling it bison bokeh 😂
