Basic pasta vs next levellll pasta🍝🍝🍝
nothing wrong with just pasta + Marinara btw, I’ll eat that often too, just wanted to show you a way to add a lot of volume and deeeeliciousness to ur pasta, to make it more filling without necessarily adding a lot of extra cals. The answer is veggies, U can sautée your veggies also but I think that roasted is just soo good because it kinda just keeps all the goodness in the vegetable and just deepens the flavor. (ALSO my first roasted pumpkin this fall season!! Ready to eat that shiz everydayyyy🎃🎃)
Left: 80g of linguine + 1/2 cup of marinara
Right: 80g of linguine+ 1/2 cup of marinara + 1 whole eggplant, about 3/4 a zucchini and around 100-150g of pumpkin all roasted with some dried oregano+chilli flakes (+salt & pebb)
Obviously the meal on the right is gonna be a lot more filling & also much more nutritious from a micronutrients standpoint. U can add some chicken breast or whatever of protein u want to make this a more complete meal w/ protein in it :)) this is just to show that adding non-starchy veggies to your starchy carbs is a great way to “bulk” up ur carbs to make them more filling/voluminous🍝🍝🍝

SO sick of (most) business’ marketing marketing marketing... why we need your product to look better and feel better... appear better. Sick of men in relationships sliding into my (and countless others) DM’s

You know where REAL lives are? Church.
Ppl don’t understand what they don’t know and seek... but church is where people with problems go. People with joy and love. People with pain and sorrow. A lost of a loved one, stressed, depressed, mentally ill. Lonely or completely soaking up all that life has for them right now.
You want to experience some real deep down rooted real-ness ? Love, acceptance, forgiveness , friendship, humbleness, children playing, people living outside of their IG - go to church because Jesus is gonna hit you with the real world. 🌎

RECIPE : CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP 🍅🍜
A few days ago I went to visit my high school foods teacher (the amazing @twinmomdisaster) and this is what she had cooking up in her class! Since I had some garden tomatoes to use up, I decided to try her recipe out today and it didn’t disappoint. .
-1 large onion .
-2 cloves of garlic
-Splash of olive oil .
-Splash of white wine
-About 10 large tomatoes (Roma are ideal, but any kind can be used)
-3 cups of chicken stock (vegetable stock can be substituted for a vegetarian option) .
-Salt, pepper and thyme to taste
-1-2 cups of heavy cream (this can be omitted if desired) .
Start by sautéing the onion and garlic in a splash of olive oil in a large pan. Add a splash of white wine to lift everything from the bottom of the pot. Add the whole tomatoes, chicken stock and spices and let simmer for 10 minutes. .
Once tomatoes are soft, use an emersion blender to purée the contents of the pot. Once smooth, stir in cream (I used only about a cup but it is personal preference) and let simmer until soup starts to thicken. .
For extra flavour, crumble cheddar cheese and croutons into soup and enjoy!! —————————————
The most amazing part about this soup is that you can alter the recipe to fit your needs! AND you can substitute the tomatoes for almost any other vegetable you want!

"MENTAL AND PHYSICAL STRENGTH"
I've had alot of women ask me how I managed to get back in shape after kids and make it stick. It was definitely a struggle finding balance and having the belief it was possible. Also the fire inside to really want it. At first I worked extremely hard transforming externally not realizing without working on the inside it was never going to last. I yoyo'd alot and I was obsessed with the scale. I couldn't understand everything I tried was so temporary. Then one day I realized my external problems were really my internal problems. I began showing myself the love I deserved, positive self talk and dealing with issues I buried deep inside. I started to believe in myself and trust the process. It was how I began to change as a person. Not only was I beginning to build the best possible version of myself but my family was also benefiting from the positivity I was bringing into my life. I had committed to changing my life, which was the most important step. I knew if I didnt believe I was capable, then I wasn't. I've been on this journey for 7 years it hasn't always been easy but it's a part of my life. I'm not just physically strong, I am mentally strong and the stronger I become mentally the stronger I am physically. You cannot be one without the other. I have transformed my life on so many levels more and more every day and I know I am meant to help others. I am so excited to start this coaching journey and begin changing women's lives ❤
I’m fortunate enough to have a gym at work so I work out instead of taking lunch everyday. And as my lunch hour is paid I think that technically makes me a paid athlete. Well. As much as anyone else on instagram is.
