Trying to think of creative ways for authors to do their Instagram. Tag any author you think is killing it on Instagram. Let’s see what they’re about. And go!
“Everyone must leave something behind when he dies, my grandfather said. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you’re there."

I was looking for a line or two from her prolific literary life, but was struck by her frequent call to arms - or pen, or paintbrush, or whatever else you use to feed your creative life. I agree with this quote wholeheartedly, and sometimes live in fear of it if I’m being honest, when the tedium of modern living feels all-consuming. What a remarkable like and important reminder. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I’m not usually one to make New Year’s resolutions but only a few days into the new year I decided to take on Jeff Goins' @jeffgoins challenge to write ✍🏻 500 words a day for 30 days 🗓. Why am I doing this? Because I'm not writing on a daily basis like I used to. It's been a week and a half since I started this challenge. To find out How I've Done So Far and What I've Learned So Far 👉🏼Click the link in my bio👈🏼 I'll report back again in a week's time.
