A tie for my biggest-ever weekly mileage. 4.2 miles over to parkrun in a lovely mist. 3.1 miles of parkrun at #eastvilleparkrun where I bullied some poor stranger into running faster so that she could continue pacing me (she’s training for her second half marathon and doing great 💪...also what a good sport for speeding up for me 😂). Then a brunch of champions from @pocotapasbar of steak, eggs, and cake. Soooo good! And now: a nap. Stress + rest = growth.
Fell an absolute cracker at #strathclydeparkrun this morning! Thanks to those who stopped to help & make sure I was ok 😊! Was on track for a really good time too 🥺 2 sore knees & twisted ankle & still managed to get just under the 30 mins!
