Good news Mommys! 6-12 months is not that long of a time at all and is a breeze when you look back at it 🙏🔥. This means you should aim to set long term goals and expectations rather than quick and fast ones.
Even better news ! Once you reach 6 months to a year of consistency , everything will feel much more automated and lifestyle like rather than different. .
I typically get my clients results within the first week to month but like to emphasize that although I’m bringing them fast results , they need to maintain this lifestyle (which is pretty easy using the techniques and methods I teach).
The bottom line: look at your transformation journey as a lifestyle rather than a short term solution. You want to keep improving even after you’ve reached your goals! 🔑💫.

Ideally, you want a pair of dumbells for the split squat curl and squat press that are challenging. Then use 1 dumbell/a lighter weight for the other exercises.

Transformation Tuesday 👊 The woman on the left trained twice a day, pushed herself to the extreme, surround herself with people that didn’t really have her best interests at heart 💔 had incredibly low self esteem, always felt she wasn’t enough or good enough which lead to bad choices, distracted herself with things that just were not important but at the time seemed sooooooo damn important so she didn’t have to deal with her own shit!!!!
The woman on the right had no choice but to spend a lot of time alone, she was able to reflect and see things differently, she stoped distracting herself with boys 🙈and started focusing on her sons 💯 the girl on the left used to go to bed feeling guilty for not spending enough time with her kids and would often cry herself to sleep the girl on the right goes to bed exhausted but really really happy 😆 For the first time in so long I’m truely happy and guess what I did it all on my own. I’m working on embracing my courageous side. It’s so easy for me to hold myself back and stop myself out of fear of success. I am my biggest competitor and I do hold myself back. There isn’t a lot of time left in the year and I want to make the most out of the last approx 90 days we have left. I want to embrace change and finish the year strong to go into 2019 with momentum. •
What is holding you back from reaching your goals?
You won't be given more than you can handle. Sometimes it feels like situations we face are too much. We don't see how we can make it better or maybe even bearable, depending what it is.
Nothing thrown at us is as strong as the power in us when we call on God. His strength can help us. His strength can carry us.
As amazing as motherhood is, it's still a huge adjustment. I've had days where it goes smoothly and days where it's overwhelming, I'm irritable and poor Gus takes the brunt of my exhaustion (he's the greatest). Thank God (literally 😄) that I don't have to do it on my strength alone.
No matter the situation, I truly believe He gives us what we need but we have to call out to Him, lean on him, truly accept our dependence on him (so hard in a world where we're taught to value independence ah).
This is my intention for the week! Lean on God more than my own strength.

Saturday morning workout....crazy 30 minutes tabata workout, finished it exhausted, modifying some exercises, struggling until the end but with and amazing feeling..... to be working ON ME and have the rest of the weekend to spend with the family 👨👩👧👦.

One thing about me that I used to consider one of my “flaws” was how short I am. I’m only 4’11. Yes I used to hate the jokes about my height. Over time I learned how to love my height. I was made perfectly to be me. I still get the jokes but now I make them too. Plus a bonus is that I get to wear super tall heels and still never be taller than anyone lol. •
What is something about yourself that you used to be self conscious about?
12 weeks postpartum & 6 weeks of solid training gradually increasing intensity😃. I definitely have way less muscle, especially in low lower body, but I'm excited to have a goal to work towards🙌🏼
It's easy to be discouraged if a goal seems far off or we feel like we've lost progress. A big goal just gives us more opportunity to see ourselves learn and grow while taking the steps to our goals. It makes it even more exciting to look back and see how far we've come!😁
No matter how far you have to go, it's never to far to work towards. #YouGotThis

Hi guys! 👋🏼 It’s been a minute (ok a lot more than a minute) since I last shared my workouts/routine so wanted to today. I am finally feeling back in my groove of doing my BBG workouts 2-3x a week and my orangetheory HIIT classes 2x a week. That leaves me with my weekends as 2 rest days and I think I will stick to that for the time being. I do not have any definitive goals per say, but just want to feel healthy and fit my jeans comfortably😅🤷🏻♀️. Note: there is still a pair that I cannot seem to zip up, man, my summer travels sure did a doozy on me. But it’s ok! I won’t stress about that one pair of jeans, and hey, more reason to wear leggings! Also, still have tight/painful shoulders and I never did go to see PT🙈 I really was hoping it would resolve on its own, but trying to stretch and roll my shoulders daily. It's not always that serious. The one off day? The weekend where your eating wasn't 100% on point? (horrible dancing?😂) I promise it's ok. Yes, we need to be consistent to get to our goals, yes we need to do our best to keep on track most of the time. Buttt the occasional day off or less than stellar workout isn't going to derail you unless you let it snowball into consistent days and weeks off. And stressing over it does more harm than good. I've lived that stress in the past. We're going for the long haul guys! A healthy lifestyle isn't built in a day and you have your whole life to make yours work. You have time. Do your best each day and don't stress yourself out if that best doesn't quite meet your highest standards occasionally (mine surely falls short sometimes). You can do this! And all those other things you wanna do, better believe it 🙌🏼 🙈I was not feeling it today but I got it done and felt so much better after. Bad dancing breaks were allowed..to help me keep going😅

Relaxed belly vs deep core activation😁
Connecting to our deep core is soo important to learn! And not just in pregnancy(though it becomes superrr important there).
I'm not pushing my belly out or intentionally over filling it with air. I'm allowing it to relax while I take a diaphragmatic breath in then making intentional pelvic floor and transverse connections on the exhale! Lift the pelvic floor and wrap up the transverse abs!
Some things to try 👐🏼
•Diaphragmatic breathing. Practice breathing deep to fill your back and side ribs.
•Become aware of and practice connecting with your pelvic floor.
•Being able to connected to your transverse abdominis. Wrapping around baby or zipping/wrapping up the corset like tva muscle. Focus on a lift & wrap below the belly button and continue the wrap up to right under the ribs.
This isn't your rectus abdominis 'six pack' muscle! It's deeper.
⭐Put it all together:
Diaphragmatic breath in with intentional pelvic floor and transverse ab connections on the exhale. -Start with a lift of the pelvic floor.
-Immediately going into the transverse ab wrap after! 👐🏼There will be more detailed info on this when the pre/post natal plan is ready along with the workouts🤰
