I have not run in 2 weeks 🙈 but this week has been filled with hikes and trails so my butt and legs are defo getting their workout.
Wanted to do a nice easy 5k around the neighborhood this morning, but that plan changed when we came across quite a few aggressively barky dogs. Chickens that we are, headed back to the street we were staying on and did some hill repeats instead. They were hard, especially with the heat, but actually felt good and our times got faster each kilometer👍🏻 #hillsforbreakfast

Firstly massive thank you to everyone for their lovely messages about my doggo, so lovely of you all. I’ve had a pretty meh week, and still not 100% obviously, but I do feel like I’m able to function on social media now. I’ve been to the gym once this week, the rest of the week I’ve spent my evenings eating ice cream, drinking Guinness and crying in the bath. I drove to the gym tonight, sat in my car for 5 mins and drove home. I’m just not feeling it. It still doesn’t feel real, and I think everyone deals with grief differently. My plan is to go to the gym tomorrow and to get my life back on track next week as I’ve not been sleeping properly or eating properly and I don’t think that helps anything. I think I need to go back to the gym as I just feel really shit at the moment and the amount of food and drink I’ve consumed just hasn’t helped, but your mental state always needs to come first. Tomorrow I promise gym pics, rather than me slounging around in joggers. Happy Friday everyone, and thanks for all of the love 💕 🐾 •

That’s just a sign you need to get out of your routine. Maybe it’s time to try something new. I was so sick of having the same job, doing the same thing over and over- especially being told what to do by an asshole manager, so I decide to create a new routine. I decided to try something new. Something I’ve never tried before. I decided to step out of my comfort zone & take a whole new approach. It feels so good to be doing something I know will help & benefit others. ☺️I can tell you it’s definitely changed my life for the better. ••
So now, it’s your turn. Think about your current situation & tell yourself you need something more. It just takes one step to get you closer to achieving your dream! All it is, is changing your routine. Not for someone else, not for the world, but for yourself. To better yourself. Trust me, you can do this! 💗
I made the most amazing caprese grilled cheese sandwich last night for dinner. Cooking relaxes me and it was a nice break from all the bathroom renovation stuff. I can almost taste it just by looking at the picture! Today I shall make Avocado 🥑 Toast with an egg for lunch and turkey chili 🌶 for dinner. Arrived in Kuala Lumpur and of course immediately found my way to one of the most popular food streets🥥 One of the most beautiful things about Thailand and Malaysia is how their is no lacking in quality and you can get meals for $1-$3.🍜🍲 I truly believe that the best bonds happen over a good meal and can be the beginning of the best friendships☺️
