Today is the very last Radiance Surgery at Candid Cafe at the Angel in Islington London N1 from 4pm - 6pm. Come and join us for a cup of tea, some captivating connections, some radical, rosey radiance and some ideas, inspirations and insights to get your work and your business off the ground.
Today we will be talking about what marketing actually means and how that is really connection, how we connect with people who love what we do through showing up and being our authentic selves online and in person and through all of our marketing efforts.
We will look at how to overcome limitations to getting online and sharing from your heart online. If you are absolutely brilliant at what you do and love what you do doesn't it make sense to share that with the world and shout it from the rooftops!? So we will take a look at any inhibitions or beliefs that might stop us from doing that.
Talking and sharing and writing about who you are and what you and who you do it for can be as joyful as doing what you do!

The fourth instalment of #sharelinesfromthebook series is here. The book that I have chosen today is my most favourite one. Jostein Gaarder's Sophie's World is a story of 14-year-old schoolgirl Sophie Amundsen who receives two papers with questions related to her being and world. An interesting story of philosophy and philosophers. The lines which I am sharing here talk about feminism and women rights and is relevant in today's time.
. "Women's groups were formed in Paris. One of those who fought hardest for the rights of women during French Revolution was Olympe de Gouges. In 1791, she published a declaration on the rights of women. She demanded all the same rights for women as for men. What happened? She was beheaded in 1793. And all political activity for women was banned. It was until the 19th century that feminism really got under way, not only in France but also in the rest of Europe. Little by little this struggle began to bear fruit. But in Norway, for example, women did not get the right to vote until 1913. And women in many parts of the world still have a lot to fight for."
Would you like to hear from you now. What are you reading these days? Share your answer in the comment section.

➡️What do your mornings look like?
☀️I’m always curious to find out about other people’s morning routines in order to improve my own. Of course this depends on what your mornings look like - if you have kids and/or start work early, then you probably won’t be spending 30 mins in meditation before you get going!
However, there are a few tips to help you start your day feeling as peaceful as possible, without spending too much time that you may not have.
🌟The @calm app - each day a new 10 minute meditation is released for you to do, so for those of us who don’t like making decisions early in the morning, this is perfect because the choice is made for you.
🌟@tonyrobbins priming routine - I’m a huge fan of Tony, and if you haven’t watched his documentary on Netflix, I suggest you go and take a look. Each morning he begins with spending 10-15 minutes ‘priming’ himself for the day ahead. Have a look on YouTube to find out the full steps and to follow along.
🌟Create a sacred space - so if you have more time on your hands in the am, and the space, why not create an area in your home that you use to relax and connect to yourself in. I like to light a few candles, put on some meditation music from YouTube, grab my yoga mat so I can stretch, and just spend as long as I need getting into ‘the zone’.
You could also jazz things up with some crystals! Or, take your coffee and just sit undisturbed for a few minutes in nice surroundings.
💫How would you describe your mornings? Let me know in the comments or send me a DM.

Good morning PWs, I saw this post yesterday and I just knew I needed to share it with you.
What makes us unique truly is the catalyst for our success. God is so good that he created all of us with a a unique selling point (USP), he knows if we could just find this unique thing, it will drive us to our desired state.
All we have to do is to do a soul search, what makes me different, is it my loud voice,my love for children, the way I pay attention to details etc
There is something about you, the world needs and it’s good you find it early. where I come from, we call it “Purpose”.
So, let me ask you, do you have clarity on your purpose?
Are you happy with where you are right now?
Do you need help in discovering who you are, because once you know who you are, your purpose will be right there waiting.
Are you tired of doing different things getting the same horrible result?
If your dominant answer is yes, please send me dm!
You cannot remain the same, you must make moves, the only difference between you and someone who you aspire to be like “KNOWLEDGE “
Ladies, I need your advice
And this isn’t really for me personally, but more for the people who have DM’d me asking for help
It’s about how to handle a situation with a partner who isn’t supportive of your choice to wear hair
Approaching the topic of wearing hair with a new partner is fucking terrifying
I guess I’ve been a bit lucky, that PB 🧔🏽💜 has been so supportive and relaxed about me wearing hair
I’ve never really had the talk about hair loss as such, but I just said that I wear a type of hair extension that clips on and off, and isn’t damaging to my hair
I also asked him how he felt about that, and he said that it doesn’t actually matter to him, whatever makes me feel comfortable – bio hair, curly hair, topper, wig etc
So when I’ve had girls DM me, saying that their partners aren’t supportive of their hair wearing, I’m a bit lost on what to say
I’ve heard things like “my partner doesn’t want me to wear hair, as he thinks it will be emasculating for him to be the boyfriend of a girl who wears wigs”
This honestly breaks my heart, that someone could be so self absorbed, especially when it comes to a topic like hair loss for a woman
Hair loss is debilitating enough without having comments like that made to you
Not having been in that situation, I’ve given the following advice
👉🏼 Your hair has nothing to do with your partner, you don’t even need to ask your partner if it’s okay for you to wear hair / shave your head etc because it’s YOUR body, not theirs
👉🏼 Sometimes people don’t understand what hair toppers or wigs look like, and what they picture in their head might be extremely outdated. The advancements in technology make hair loss solutions look so god damn realistic it’s not even funny. A little alternative hair education might be required
👉🏼 Explain to your partner that your hair loss is affecting your self esteem and confidence, and the solution you have found (wigs / toppers / rocking bald) you believe will help bring that back
👉🏼 If your partner just isn’t being supportive, even after all that – plz dump their ass on the street, cos their unsupportiveness probably won’t end here
Anyone else got some more advice??

‘A champion is defined not by their wins but by how they can recover when they fall.’ Serena Williams. There are so many incredible women out there of which to learn from. Serena is DEFINITELY one of those. Though I have to say, we don’t have to look so far for some inspiration. Sometimes all you need is a good pep talk from your very wise, very supportive and just all around wonderful mother and aunt. Just had one of those today and it feels so good ❤️

TBH, I really like alone time! Getting to reflect and work and get ish done! I find my power in quiet time! After being around people for long periods of time, I sometimes retreat so that I can re-emerge feeling charged and back in my magic!
Sometimes all I need is a long hot shower with good music, or a bath, or a quiet ride in the car to be in my thoughts, or reading and even sometimes... cleaning!
More than anything I think it’s about finding my rhythm and flow! When I get out of it, my vibration is off!
I know I’m not the only one! What are some ways you babes like to recharge your energy?
