I have this nailed on my wall, so everytime I’m hustling I look at it to never forget! -
Each one has their own time to grow, develop, learn, to anything basically. The important thing is that we each acknowledge that what we are working for will take some time to achieve it and some people may have done it faster or slower that you, but do not stop, never stop, because one day it will be your time to achieve it! -
Whether is success, a promotion, a trip, whatever you’re aiming at, don’t give up on stay on path, you’ll make it!
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. ~ Semisonic, Closing Time
Depending on how each parting happens, goodbyes can either give relief or grief. However, every goodbyes, no matter what led to it are always bittersweet. This is why I always embrace each goodbye, kiss it lovingly and thank it for enriching my life, and warmly welcome each new beginning. *Note: Pok Pok NY was a restaurant located in the historic Brooklyn waterfront that served Northern Thai cuisine. To think heroic things builds heroes.
The Authentic Leaders throughout history, as well as Authentic Leaders today, are those who think heroic things.
They have BIG Ideas.
And these ideas are centered in purpose; and a greater calling and cause.
This cause is FAR beyond the desire for their own comforts and needs.
This cause is invariably to change the world.
For if you're not willing to do something great why even bother being here?
Heroes are willing to do what others aren't willing to do.
To pay a price that most will never pay.
Heroes always ask, "How can I do more, give more, become more; and thereby access my God-given potential?" Maybe most importantly, heroes are ONLY heroes BECAUSE they have faced incredible odds and overcome them.
You'll never find one single hero throughout history, NOT ONE, that did not face massive challenges; and they give their very lives, and every single breath and ounce of energy they have, to become what we so admire them for becoming.
Heroes show us what we ALL have locked inside of us if we're only willing to set it free.
Heroes don't set out to be heroes. They're just ordinary people like you and me who have a fiery hot core in their heart, the deepest of love for a higher calling, and for improving humanity.
Heroism just naturally unfolds as a result of life; and the character and strength of the hero. A hero is heroic because they give EVERYTHING in the pursuit of their own personal “Holy Grail.
And they give their very life to it. Far beyond their own comforts and needs.
The world needs more heroes right now.
Will you hear the call?

How would you feel if you had just cleaned your home and someone came in and tracked mud everywhere? You'd probably be a little ticked that they hadn't taken off their shoes. Take this mentality and apply it to everyday life. For example, don't toss your trash or cigarette butts on the floor of public restrooms or sidewalks just because someone else will clean it up. Be respectful of others' time, thoughts, ideas, lifestyles, feelings, work and everything else. You don't have to agree with any of it, but people have a right to their own opinions and yours is not necessarily correct.
The premise of my book Love Again rests on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
A relationship without a foundation and boundaries will crumble. A God-confirmed relationship is a part of that foundation. You don’t want to move forward without confirmation. You can, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The risk of hurt and disappointment are greater.
#love#relationshipgoals#lovequotes#wisdom#godlycourting#christianrelationships#prayer#confirmation “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV
Tell yourself “my inner peace is more important” when you’re faced with challenging situations that test your patience. Sometimes stepping back and remembering how important your inner stability is saves you from overreacting and overthinking things. Be at peace and let it go.
Don’t personalize or internalize other people’s behavior. What they do is not a reflection of you. Their actions represent them and where they’re at in their growth. Just observe instead of getting caught up and overreacting emotionally. Choose to grow from it so you become better and attract better. It’s all just a learning experience.
React with love. Sometimes that means retaliating with understanding and compassion; other times it means retaliating with acceptance and sheer silence. Whatever it is, make sure you stay in a space that doesn’t keep you depleted way after something is over. Just take the lessons and move on gracefully.
Next time you feel wronged, just let go; surrender. Don't get angry or sad and depressed because something didn’t work out like you thought it would or things didn’t go as planned or somebody didn’t live up to your expectations. People will always do what they want and it's not your place to suffer or try to force them to be how you want them to be. That takes too much energy and we all know how much effort in takes to even change our own self. However, the moment you change the focus back on yourself and the things you want, something magical happens. Letting go and allowing instead of being resistant and fearful actually attracts to you exactly what it is that you want. Surrender to the universe and allow yourself to be guided to your soul's purpose.
When you decide to not react to people's nonsense, you decide to take full control over your life. •
