Toast at Basils!…The Chefs have a sensational “Walk n Fork” Bellarine Bush to Bay inspired menu + they join forces with the Bellarine’s own “The Whiskery” to bring you the Basils “Ginsecco” cocktail!

TOAST MENU – The Basils Farm Chefs have created a menu featuring local favourites and a mouthwatering “walk and fork” menu.
Mussels steamed in Basils Farm Rose with chilli tomato and fresh garden herbs served with fresh crusty bread. $20
Basils Picnic for 2: Charcuterie Platter (Victorian cured meats, house smoked salmon, Apostle Whey cheeses, house-made dip, pickled vegetables, with a selection of crackers and bread) served in a basket with a picnic rug $40 or add a bottle of Prosecco for $70. “Walk and Fork” Menu
Substantial single person portions, bay to bush foraged and locally sourced ingredients served in bamboo bowls. -Shredded duck with garden fennel kale slaw and blueberry gastrique.
-House smoked salmon with coastal spinach and horseradish.
-Roasted King Brown mushrooms and fried saltbush with white truffle and celery jus.
-Slow cooked Bellarine Lamb, smoked beetroot and a lemon and Drysdale goats cheese feta.
COCKTAILS – The cocktail bar will also be serving three new Basils Farm cocktails🍹🍹🍹
Ginsecco: Homegrown, squeezed grapefruit, a splash of sugar syrup, Bellarine local “Teddy & the Fox” Gin, topped with Basils Farmhouse Prosecco.
The Foxy Basil: Basil Leaves and Cucumber smashed and shaken with Teddy in the fox gin, topped with tonic.
Basils Pink Sangria: Basils Farm Rose, lemonade, a variety of local berries and orange.
WINERY/WINE: The Basils Farm and Basils Farmhouse rage of wines will be available for tasting all weekend with special wine offers available for Toast participants.
FAMILY FRIENDLY: Plenty of room for the kids to play on the large grassed areas or have fun in the sandpit. Say hello to the resident farm animals including chickens, ducks, baby doll sheep and Llamas.

Ps: I was having Czech wine to taste and it had a flavor of spices.. specifially more like Indian masala imho lol so random 🙈 Also I got my favorite wine—Pinot Noir in the supermarket and it got that kind of spices flavor too somehow lol that’s weird.... 😅 Anyone has ever tried Czech wine? 🍷❤️
Confession: I have a pizza addiction. And I love wine 🍕🍷
PSA: After 9:30pm, my neighbor @martamanhattan gives a FREE margherita pie when you order a bottle of wine. So I usually get a bottle of Sicilian red + a free pizza (I like to add spicy soppressata). You could always take home what you don’t finish... but let’s be honest... I always finish the pizza AND the bottle 🤷🏻♀️ #DontJudgeMe
