So i’m having mixed feelings about this gym still😓
It’s not usually too busy when i go but they don’t have a lot of equipment/bar weights on the upper levels of the gym that are heavy enough for me 😢
SO i’m on the hunt for a new gym, for real this time🤪
It's not that pretty but it fucking got done.
Adjusting to a new full time, full day, physically demanding and draining job, but still making time for training as well as sticking to that calorie deficit for a bit of a cut #result
So what's your excuse again? Whether it's 5am or 5pm- just get it done. Motivation has never been an issue for me because the gym is a place I WANT to be, not feel I have to be.
Despite a bit of Groin pain I managed 3 sets of 5 reps with 70..nothing special at all but good for me, so I'm happy and proud and I'm taking it 👌last rep was Interesting but I didn't want to cut it short.
If you want it hard enough, get off your ass and do something about getting it, some days won't be your best but struggling and achieving feels better than quitting.
ugh okay so i made some videos- but i don’t know how to edit/take videos 🆘🙃. SO, to be seen in the near future hopefully, if i can figure out how to use shit⚠️ I have a great camera but i’m lazy as heck and don’t wanna carry it around at the gym and iphone quality is ok🤷🏼♀️

I get so many questions about cardio. It’s no secret that I’m not really a fan. But I think people assume you can’t meet your goals without tons of cardio, and that just isn’t true.
I used to spend so much time running or on the elliptical and one day I finally realized I didn’t like it, I was making excuses to skip the gym because I didn’t like it, and it was better for me to do something I enjoy and will stick with even if it meant less cardio. I currently do one 35-min LISS per week (walking on the treadmill while watching tv 😜) and one 15-min HIIT per week (usually either a stairmaster HIIT or one of the PWR tabata cardio challenges).
Is cardio good for you? Yes! If you love it should you continue doing it? Yes! If you don’t love it are there other ways to achieve your goals? Yes!! Also, when I’m lifting heavy and really pushing myself, I am dripping with sweat and my heart is racing. So who says lifting can’t also count as cardio? 😏
