Now that I’m down 60 pounds people ask how I did it. My biggest piece of advice is to fuel your body well and move more. Find a workout program you like and make a commitment to yourself to do it. As far as my meal plan, I believe in balanced eating and make it my goal to eat as many clean foods as possible. Also remember that you didn’t gain the weight overnight and the weight doesn’t come off overnight either. Be patient. OTF Transformation challenge starts tomorrow!! A new blog post is up that talks about it, as well as my grocery list and a few recipes under the “Nutrition” tab. I am excited to lose my Harlaxton lbs and get back to where I was before I left. The challenge is based on body fat percentage lost. I purchased a new scale this week that tells me BMI, fat %, water %, weight, and % of muscle. I am so excited to track my weight loss knowing the exact measurements instead of basing everything on one number. •
I am also modeling my new leggings and matching sports bra from Club Pilates. They have the BEST workout clothes and I always spend a part of my paycheck on something new. 🤷🏻♀️ I plan to wear the same outfit for my “post” pictures on March 17th. •

From about day 2 I decided to make keto my lifestyle. I know I make it seem like it was just so easy, and it was really easy once I actually fully committed but at first I struggled. My first day Keto I did so good until my husband ordered my favorite pizza, I ate the cheese off then decided to “just have a piece”
Then I had brownies I had made just sitting there, about to go to waste.. I took a tiny bite and then literally shoved the whole thing down my throat. I then had another. The next day I read wine was keto and decided to have a “glass” except a serving was 5 oz and I filled up like a giant mason jar. I really wanted to see ketones reading on my urine strips and knew that I needed to stop the shit if I wanted to lose weight so I just stopped. No more tastes, no more slips, no cheats. Not even a LICK or else I could cave. I have a lot more willpower now but I still find things tempting and need to walk away. It’s so hard to be cooking or baking and not just “have a taste” but you can’t. My best advice is to find keto alternatives for whatever it is you tend to crave and keep them handy. If you would have asked me a year ago if I could lose over 100 pounds, I would have done 1 of 2 things.. Hell yeahhhhhhhh ……….. 🤩 My check in numbers were dope (I was nervous as shit for real 😳), weight down another 1.1 lbs., muscle mass is up 1.6%, down several inches overall body, body percent fat up .06%, overall I’m gunning for my spot on the finals for this 16-week challenge. 🏋🏽♀️
Damnnnnnn on another note 💥 I told ya I was a big girl today … I went heavier on the weights .. ended up pulling 85 lbs. and 5 sets of 8 .. less reps + heavy weights = bigger hypertrophy! 💪🏽
FYI ….. 🤔 Lat Pull Downs ~ can be extremely beneficial in building upper body strength and target the upper body muscles, especially the latissimus dorsi, biceps, and deltoids muscles.
Also in order to get a good pump .. make sure your lower body is locked in a comfortable position under the knee pads. 👌🏽You can see my lower body is stationary. You want all the upper body to do the work.
I hate to see people jerking their body to pull weights, Ummmmmmmm 🤦🏽♀️ hello if you can’t pull it with the targeted muscle, it’s toooooo heavy, grab a weight you can properly manage. 💯
Give the Lat PI’ll Down a try! Don't get attached to just 1 workout. Also stick with the new training regimen for at least 4-6 weeks to see change and or before switching to another movement. 👏🏽

All you see in these pictures are the physical changes, what you don’t see are the mental changes and in my opinion that’s the most Important part. I don’t think people realize how much your weight can effect your everyday life. When I started this journey I was in a really bad place, I was trying so hard to help the people around me and to always make sure they were happy. While doing so I had forgotten to take care of myself.. I was at an all time low and honestly I hadn’t even realized it. The day i started to put myself before anyone else, and take care of myself was the day that my journey truly started. Self love is the most important thing and I wish more people talked about it. Stop comparing yourself to others, if you don’t like what you see then change it but you have to be the one to make all those changes, no ones going to do it for you. All I’m saying is just remember to love yourself because whether you believe it or not you’re fucking amazing 💪🏼👏🏼
This was taken back in summer but wanted to reshare. im not crazy abt either pictures but the difference in my stomach is crazy. I never thought in a million years I’d ever be caught dead in a bikini again. I hated even wearing one pieces, I felt they were just not me but I needed covered up. I’d wear a cover up over it and pretend I was too cold to take it off. This last summer I wore a two piece (high waisted) for the first time in years. I hope by my vacation in less than a month I’ll feel comfortable enough to wear this one or similar out in public, but if not that’s ok too. I need to stop focusing on “I haven’t reached my goal” and appreciate my progress so far and the fact that I’m healthy and happy. The before pic I look pregnant but I wasn’t, just so overly bloated from carbs and junk I took this before starting a workout regimen that I did for a week but saw no improvement and quit. I saw no improvement because I couldn’t work off a bad diet. There’s about 60 lbs difference between the two photos.
