Throw back photo.. But, doctors appointment went well. Jackson gained weight, I gained a little weight. Just have to log all my food for 2 weeks and go in for another weight check. If I was anorexic, or PURPOSELY wanted to be thin, would I be going to the doctor to figure this weight issue out? No. He even said my metabolism is fast and I use a lot of energy chasing the kids around and that although I'm eating a lot, it may just not be high enough in calories. Today I browsed some old photos of me. Back then I didn't weigh myself very often, but there were a couple of photos of a scale number 66 and 67. Should I share some of them with you?
I saw a clear difference between me now and when I was at my HW a few years ago, but to the photos before that I really didn't. I don't know how much I weighed then. I want to reach my adulthood LW even though I don't really know what that is. 😂
Mornings 🌞 like this I'm so thankful I'm my own boss. Andrew has a doctors👨⚕️ appointment to check his weight. Being the unbelievably picky eater 🥦🚫 he is has made him stay pretty much the same weight since he was 18 months. His amazing pediatrician 👨⚕️ is a little concerned, so we've been keeping an eye on his eating and will be going in for his second ✌ weight check today.
I'm so grateful that I don't have to explain to my boss why I need the morning off, use sick days 🤒 or vacation time, and then have to drop him off back at daycare👩👦. I have the freedom to get up before him, do my work🤳, take him to the doctor and then possibly for a treat afterwards 🍪

So this is what 147lbs looks like on me. Down to a size 28 waist. Lately, my focus has been losing body fat since I kind of let myself go wild this summer. That’s what summer was for! Haha. 😝 I’m not on any specific diet but have been focusing on strategies to help maximize muscle mass while still losing fat. In my case, with my genetics, I’ve noticed that a high protein, low carb, hight fat diet seems to work best. I mainly let my body dictate my food intake, since i don’t care to labor over calorie consumption. I’ve tried it, got some good size from it... & had to work hard to lean back down each time. This time, I’m really just focused on making sure I have a good protein source with every meal (5-6 times a day). I usually give myself 1 day a week where I eat more carbs than usual, just enough to turn my body into a fat burning machine, since my carb levels are low most of the week. Combined with a 5-6 day split, HiTT cardio, & high water intake... I feel this strategy has given me the best results. My muscles feel full, they continue to grow, and I’m managing to stay at low body fat levels. I’ve learned to pay attention to my body, which consistently pushes me to make nutritional modifications based on my metabolic type. I’m always trying new experiments... and so I’m looking forward to seeing where this one takes me.
