Getting back to the grind and loving it, the gym has become my little happy place, I can go and completely tune out the world, it’s definitely a welcomed break in the day. I even enjoyed my cardio the other day *gasp* who even am I?! 😉 I did though, I probably looked ridiculous because I was dancing and lip syncing but why tf not 💁🏼♀️ might as well have fun doing it, I’m not there for anyone but me ❤️

Earlier this year I decided to take a few months off from writing so that I could focus on taking care of my tiny human and to give myself the time and space needed to heal and figure out my new role as a mama bear. It was a hard decision to make, but ultimately I decided I needed to be gentle with myself and my body, and I had to accept the fact that I can't actually do everything (WHAT?!). It took me longer than I thought it would, but I'm glad I decided to listened to my heart- I'm in a much better place because of it.
So here I am. Sitting down with a notebook and pen, my guitar and my pick, and all the words I've kept in over these past few months have now gotten lost somewhere in my brain and I can't seem to find them 😩
