#saturdaysmiles - A week ago today we had the most wonderful wedding at beautiful @warmwell.house in the Dorset countryside for Ettie and Steve. Working with some amazing suppliers and hosted by the delightful owners of Warmwell House who opened up their magnificent home and gardens exclusively for this wedding, this was one super happy and relaxed couple 👰🤵🥂💐

I was talking to my boyfriend this morning about job satisfaction and it occurred to me, not for the first time, that I am incredibly lucky to be doing what I'm doing. I spend my time documenting happiness, friendship, love, family, celebration, gratitude and when I'm not doing that I'm sat editing the photos or meeting more people whose lives I get this very privileged insight into. Yesterday I sent off some previews of Ettie and Steve's wedding which I shot at the weekend in @warmwell.house (the most dreamy venue) and looking at them again today I just think maaaan I am lucky. Job satisfaction pretty much through the roof. I'm so grateful to these guys and to every couple who gives me the honour of doing what I do.
Last post I promise 🤗
I had the privilege of capturing this couples special day yesterday and I couldn’t be more thankful and happy. 🖤
I was in tears yesterday (out of joy) on my way home because I feel an overwhelming amount of support these last few days in regards to photography. I was getting down and honestly I was thinking about stopping pictures all together...😔😔
It’s hard not getting down on yourself, it’s hard not comparing yourself to others who do the same thing and wonder if you’ll ever be quite as good or as well recognized and I would be lying if I said I didn’t hit rock bottom with how I felt about my photography.
So with that being said... thank you. ❤️ thank you to EACH and every single one of you who has sent me a message admiring a picture, or commented something positive, shared a post, even just liked it. THANK YOU. 💖thank you to the people who have believed in me and have contacted me recently about pictures, thanks for allowing me to grow creatively and do what I love.💖
A hilarious First Look Fake-out with the groom’s brother instead of the bride. 😂 The bride, Lindsey coordinated this because she knew Steve would be nervous and she wanted to make him laugh. All of their family and wedding party stood by and went along with it too yelling things like “Lindsey I love your dress”,”you look so beautiful” “I can’t wait for Steve to see you”. I’m a terrible liar and it was so hard not to laugh as I directed this. We all laughed so hard once Steve turned around and realized he got spoofed though. And then we did the real first look. 😁😁😁😂😂😂
