After talking to one of my friends who lives in Seoul, I was shocked to learn about the House of Sharing for comfort women. This is where the women who were used as ‘comfort’ by the Japan army in the 2nd World War now live. I hadn’t heard of the ‘comfort women’ within my school history lessons or on my travels around the world. I wanted to know more and how I could show my support to these women, which is when I heard about the Wednesday demonstrations outside the Japanese Embassy.
Every Wednesday since the 8th January 1992, when Japan’s Prime Minister visited the Republic of Korea, the surviving victims and others supporting their cause take to the street near the Japanese embassy. They are asking for a proper apology from the Japanese government who deny that comfort women were forcefully taken during this time. When I was in Seoul, I showed my support by taking part in this demonstration.
You can read about the demonstration, what comfort women actually were and where you can join the protest in this post:

When in Singapore 🇸🇬 ... you got to hit up the colourful Peranakan Houses!⠀
Ok - I'll admit, I saw them on IG and kinda had to go 😆. So we took a taxi from Bugis to Joo Chiat just for this row of houses🤷♀️.⠀
The twin was not impressed, though she admits it's beautiful too!⠀
Do you think it's worth the trek?⠀

I am a sucker for silhouettes and reflections. They are so seductive. This one struck me almost immediately as I arrived into the city of Stockholm on a dreamy sleepy Sunday morning. I loved this city. I somehow imagined it to be more modern and sleek. I loved this part of Stockholm with the old architecture and urban ambiance. I was also in Old Town in Stockholm the night before on a Sat night. The alleyways, candlelit restaurants, and lofty apartments were so evocative. I thought, 'I could live here!' However, that's unlikely. As is typical in many cities, inventory is low. Apparently, locals get on mailing lists for apartments and may wait four decades or more before one becomes available. One can still dream...
Dropped the idea of heading to Chinatown cos it was so late already! Instead, I went back to Thonglor - popped by Soi 38 and got myself a mango sticky rice from the popular Ning's Fruit Stand (as recommended by @misstamchiak) to compare it with the other famous Mae Varee one that I tried on my first day as my last supper in Bangkok before my flight home the next day! I gotta say though, the food at Soi 38 all looked really good... 😂🍋 P.s this was 80 baht for a small portion (Ning's Fruit Stand) vs 150 baht (Mae Varee). Mangoes on par but the multi colored sticky rice from Mae Varee takes the cake here imo! 😊
Another question for you to help me out :) what cities would you love to read about? Like where are you dreaming of going that a guide would be helpful in your planning process?

Can you spot me? We thought it'd be pretty easy. But being the 2nd deepest canyon in the world, twice that of the Grand Canyon, Cañon del Colca teased us with the views that looked "quite near what". 😂 Still, it was a good legs & butt workout with the steep decline & incline down & up.

Saying goodbye is hard, but I know I will be back in Burano again. Thank you @casaburano and @venissa_tenuta for having me and showing me the quieter, local side of Venice. 💛🏘🌈 // I hope you all have been enjoying my series #GlobaliteXCasaBurano. I’ve JUST landed in Madrid and will be showcasing my experience in Spain in my stories for the next two weeks so stay tuned. After Burano, I had an incredible stay in Tuscany at @hotelborgogiusto and can’t wait to show you my girl’s spa trip there with @traveljeanieous. It’s another property I highly recommend. Hope you’ve been having a great week everyone!

Im back! I have not been posting regularly lately and truth is that at the moment I do not really enjoy being on Instagram anymore. Im not happy with my content, but also the new algorithms of Instagram are making everything really hard. My posts are not showing up on timelines, my reach is worse than ever and I am losing followers every day. Besides that there is so much pressure to post every day on this platform and this in combination of having an own business and doing a master is just too much. I did not enjoy taking photos anymore, especially knowing that most of you will not even see it. However, I want to enjoy Instagram again, move on and post content I truly support and like. Sometimes it is good to take a little break to figure out who you are and who and where you want to be. 🖤 @revolve@loversfriendsla

На этот раз нам удалось побывать в 3-х городах-Пизе, Флоренции и Риме и многих многих малюсеньких деревушках!
Такая душевная Италия! И да, тут +27😩
Краснодар, я лечу, как у вас погодка?
If I could offer you only one tip for the future,
Sunscreen would be it.
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth
you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded
Don't worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum
Do one thing everyday that scares you
Today's inspiration is brought to you by Baz Luhrmann with 'Everybody's Free' all the way back from 1999.
Just do one little thing today outside of your comfort zone 💙
Btw does this totally make you wanna Google the full version like it makes me..? 😉
I love weekends when I finally get out of the big city and get to explore hidden gems around #SouthKorea 🙃

I’ll finally visit Busan again since visiting this Spring 🐟🌊. Busan is the second largest city in South Korea and it’s a city by the water, located in the very south of the country. While living in Korea for 4 years, I’ve only visited twice so far and I’m looking forward to exploring out of Seoul more in the coming months. 🤩 #Busan#gamcheonculturevillage#부산#감촌문화마을
My city #Seoul 🌃🖤 I love this city so much that I’ve spent the last 4 years of my life here (out of the last 6 years abroad😛). I’ll probably be here for a little while and want to actually take advantage of exploring more of the city & country before it’s time to part ways. Stay tuned 📺 for more of #Seoulexploring#mavicair

Clouds suits my mood just fine! .
This luxury escape I had was amazing, however nothing beats a simple bungalow right on the sand with nothing but the necessary for a beach life! Bring it on Thailand...
If I could live in a moment forever, it would probably be this one 🐠✨
Making friends with rays & swimming with sharks all day!

Never want to leaf autumnal heaven in Canada 😍🍁🍃🏔💕 After spending the night before watching a symphony orchestra under 500,000+ stars (I know 😭) we woke up early the next day to drive to Banff and hike up mountains. Apart from nearly falling over every 5 seconds in my wildly inappropriate shoes (🤦🏼♀️😂) it was honestly one of my favourite ever days ✨ Canada feels like a bit of a second home and I basically never ever want to leave 🇨🇦💙 @westjet@visitalberta
