Thanks to Taifun Trami we couldn’t go to Yakushima on the day we had planned to because all ferries were cancelled.. I am glad we still took the train and travelled west, towards the typhoon that day because in the end we got lucky and just crossed the typhoon and never actually experienced it. And we got to spend one night in Kagoshima in a nice hotel with the best view on the volcano. I took the first picture at sunrise and the second one at sunset. 🌄 #explorejapan#thankstrami#kagoshima
Still sick but slowly getting better.
Been thinking about climate change and ways to make a difference. Been reading about ways to reduce the carbon footprint and about how there are some huge elephants in that room that no-one usually dares to address. Been reading study materials for the exams and thinking about my growth on the path of becoming a teacher.
Been thinking about the forest I can see from my window and the animals that live there and the mosses and lichens and plants. Been thinking about how I took the recyclables to their designated bins yesterday and ended up fishing out a bag filled with carton and metal and a tiny amount of food from the compostables and recycling everything properly because someone else didn't bother.
Been thinking about how some people say how they want to leave a better planet for their children and how others want to leave a better planet for every single living organism. Been thinking about green tea and self made bread and soft yellow things and strawberries that still bloom in the backyard.
@enjoythelight captures a wintery scene at Durdle Door, a natural limestone formation that began forming over 140 million years ago. Meaning up part of the Jurassic Coast, geologists and archaeologists have discovered many fossils in the surrounding area, shedding light on the history of our planet- #faroutmagazine
What if you could enter and walk through a real-life Jurassic Park? Welcome to Jurassic Coast, a land touched by the gargantuan beasts of our past. The first fossil discovery was made back in early 19th century and were later classified as remains of an ichthyosaur and pleiosaurs, setting off a scramble to uncover greater treasures held under the sands and rocks. With 153km of coastline to cover, it is near impossible to explore the entire coast within a few days. Here are a few highlights you should bookmark: Lulworth Cave, Fossil Forest, Durdle Door, Golden Cap, Keates Quarry and Old Harry Rocks.

Stumbled upon this small, beautiful waterfall surrounded by fall collors, in the mountains close to Nesbyen, Norway.
Don't aim at success. The more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued; it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the by-product of one's surrender to a person other than oneself. Happiness must happen, and the same holds for success: you have to let it happen by not caring about it. I want you to listen to what your conscience commands you to do and go on to carry it out to the best of your knowledge. Then you will live to see that in the long-run—in the long-run, I say!—success will follow you precisely because you had forgotten to think about it
