Joshua Tree National Park. Joshua Tree is one of my favorite locations, but is now suffering from the government shutdown. Sadly, many locations are overflowing with waste and trash and there have been reports of off road driving with people cutting new roads or tracks through wilderness areas. Pretty sad behavior. Please respect our national treasures. Back in 2013 I had traveled to Hawaii to see Volcanoes National Park, and the government shutdown at that time closed the park. I was angry and frustrated that I had traveled all that way and could not get into the park. This time they decided to keep the parks open but basically without supervision, and this decision seems to be even worse than the last one! They are trying to minimize anger at the government shutdown by keeping the parks open, basically sacrificing the parks to minimize political backlash. Terrible decision. _______________________________________ Continuing my panorama binge. 😀 Top 60 panoramas, counting down, No. 28. I love panoramas and they are a major part of my photography, but for a long time I mostly avoided posting them on IG because it’s hard to do them justice here. They are just too small. Panoramas on IG make a postage stamp look large in comparison! I have finally just decided to go ahead and post them anyway. Because I’ve mostly avoided posting them there is a bit of a backlog. There will be several versions of each, a regular version, a swipe left version, and sometimes a short video version. Hope you enjoy! Wayne

Eu queria começar minha lista de locais pra conhecer antes de morrer, mas a lista é grande e eu tenho medo de passar mais tempo fazendo a lista, ao invés de simplesmente ir e viver!
