[ B A C K S T A G E ] Life behind the scenes is not as fancy as you’d imagine. This is a prime example. Just me, my cameras and the subject of whatever video I am recording….on a good, old fashion picnic table. Most of the time, the tables are pretty worn which gives that authentic rustic wood background, but other times not so much! Those are the moments when finding a good background with a decent backdrop gets a bit tricky. Most days, my filming takes place outside since filming inside gets a little tricky, and you just can't beat natural light! + + +
Photos and videos have become a part of what I do and who I am, and I enjoy the process of taking something raw and making it enjoyable to view and watch. I am always looking for innovative ways to express a common topic, so that I can provide unique, enjoyable content. I am constantly learning new tips and tricks along the way, learning from some of the best people on YouTube while also attending classes and workshops from successful professionals in the space. I have learned so much about using my camera the right way and how to edit good photos. It helped me realize the value of a good camera with a good lens, and even further, using good photo editing software. Sure, you can take just about any photo on your phone these days, but a good, edited photo goes a long way. I love the art of photography, learning how to improve my editing skills and sharpening my eye for a good photo. I am no professional photographer/videographer, but I do know that a picture is worth a thousand words. Why not make it the best thousand words you’ve ever captured?
