Howdy y’all I’m Frank Owner and Craftsman of Kamikaze Wood Werks. I am a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I was a member of corporate America for many year, but wasn’t happy. I started woodworking at a young age. I have over 20 years of knowledge. Although I have spent most of my life as an employee. I’ve always been working with my hands. I grew up in Ohio learning how to build things and fix stuff, whether it was in Scouting, helping on a local farms, in wood shop back in high school or things needed for my home. •
So being discipline and attention to detail isn’t new.The Marine Corps took it up a notch. I have always had a level of passion and creativity in the craft. I moved from Ohio to California in February 2013.
A proud graduate of Union Local High School in Morristown, Ohio, with a PHD that didn’t exceed 13 years. I went into the Marine Corps upon graduating. I served this country traveling across the world during my 7 1/2 year career. Once I was able to gain the tools to start wood working in April 2017, at the age of 40, I discovered my true passion for artisan woodworking, I left my last job in outside sales behind to solely focus on my family and this new path in life.
As a single father with full custody of my two kids. I live and breathe for my kids and this passion. My 20 plus years of wood working and carpentry skills, along with knowledge of many types of joinery that I’m currently using in order to use the least amount of hardware as possible is keeping this craftsmanship style alive in each and every Kamikaze Wood Werks piece.

Busy day, so far.
The space between the rafters are all closed up and all of the subfascia are completely fastened.
The interior wiring is coming along. I have all the circuits mapped out in my head its just a matter of where to physically run them through the walls.
The metal for our roof was also delivered earlier this morning. Finally, the utility company just finished wiring service to our pole and all we need is the separate contractor to come out and put the meter in. ⚡⚡⚡
