Gazing at this amazing jungle in the middle of Fraser Island 😍
Our expectations were more than met on this peaceful place of mother earth. 🌏
White sandy beaches as far as you can see and the most pure freshwater lakes inside the island, surrounded by a jungle with trees over a 1000 years old. 😍😲
The great thing is that you can even explore the island by yourself if you can afford the most expensive 4x4 car hiring you have ever seen. 🙈
If you do it the cheaper way - like we did - you might be stuck in a tour bus the most of the time with a guide talking non stop for 6 hours over a loud speaker. 😂 Either way it’s an experience you won’t forget. 🙃
Exploring wild places throws us the most blissful pleasures and the harshest struggles. Having the right or wrong people with you can totally sweeten or sour an adventure. These two yogis make the gnarliest hikes taste like honey glazed açaí bowls—they’re my favorite people to hike with! They’re stoked enough to speed through the toughest trails from dawn til dusk but curious enough to stop and admire any little plant and fungi that sparks interest. They’re packed with the wisdom of a thousand philosophers to share but mindful enough to actually listen to others speak.
What makes them the best people to adventure with? They naturally follow the 5 Commandments of Sweet Hiking Buddies:
1. Never complain
2. Be at similar skill & fitness levels
3. Share your best snacks
4. Make real talk & make silly talk
5. Be down, say yes!
Annapurna Base Camp Day One: Pokhara to Ulleri • Wide smiles and awe-struck eyes on day one of our Annapurna Base Camp Trek. It was a surreal moment to finally begin something that has been on my bucket list for the last three years and to be given views like this straight off the bat ✨
H O R I Z O N S 💕 It’s that time of year where I want to plan alllll the hot, sunny trips but don’t have any on the horizon. I’m currently in Banff then off to New York on Monday (where there’s an epic snow storm about to welcome me). In the meantime, I’ll continue reminiscing about this dreamy trip to St. Tropez. Do you have any fun-in-the-sun plans? 🌞
Ducking down in between sets, a flock of pelicans glides between the surf... Watching these beautiful animals glide effortlessly through the air during was surreal. I like to think they were doing a bit of surfing of their own, enjoying the turbulent airflow from the massive swell

“The Federal Government Shutdown has severely impacted National Parks around the country, as park staff have been unavailable to maintain and protect park resources.” While many national parks have trash strewn all over or human feces right off of the side of trails, I’m glad that there’re decent folk with the moral obligation of humanity who continue to visit some of the trails in the Smokey’s. My buddies and I picked up a total of 2 bottles and a Gatorade top on our recent visit - that’s it. A huge thanks to visitors who know how to act, and to the people that are taking trash cleanup and maintenance into their own hands as volunteers: 4-year-old junior ranger Charlie Comi, the Yosemite Climbing Association @yageryca , and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization. You all, and those that don’t have any recognition, have my gratitude 🙏🏿 ...
