Any other breakfast lovers out there?! 🙋🏼♀️
Growing up I was obsessed with maple brown sugar oatmeal 😍
I would wake up and jump out of bed just to help my mom make exactly what I wanted (2 packets, never just 1). The sweet, comforting aroma of maple filled the house while I steeped my oats and decided which cartoons to watch 🦄
To this day, whenever I smell that delightful maple 🍁 scent, I’m brought back to my living room as a 7 year old 🥰
My tastes have evolved (slightly) only because I now know the value of eating more than straight sugar and fueling my body to the best of my ability 🥦🍉🥕🍌
Still, as an adult, I cannot wait to eat breakfast, my favorite meal of the day.
And even though I rarely mix it up and stray from my go-to, I just can’t get enough! It’s sweet, it’s filling, not to mention packed with vitamins, nutrients, fiber and flavor!
Get the super simple recipe for my go-to breakfast on my blog Happily Ever Active ✨ Blueberry Chia Oatmeal ✨

High protein sandwich!
Did you know seitan is one of the best proteinsources for vegans?
They have around 60-70% protein.
This is a simple sandwich with vegan cream cheese, ketchup, my mom's delicious seitan, on whole wheat bread.
2 of these double sandwiches= 821 kcal, 62g of protein 💪.

just finished eating in an amazing restaurant 💚 @farms otablepp is know for recycling, up-cycling, supporting the community, and using fresh and local products from the farmers 🌱 really awesome is the fact that they hire people who have been through difficult times, support them and train them so they can be successful in the future 🤗 eating in restaurants who value those things is important to me. even though you pay a few extra dollars (which is nothing to us), you feel really good about it 🤗
My lunch yesterday was delicious.
I made a stock of carrots, celery, onion, garlic and fresh parsley (well threw into a pan). Then added the most nutrient dense veggies to recover from an intense training session at the gym with @mark.james.t 🥰
After blitzing the soup in the blender, I topped with Nutritional yeast and chilli flakes. Served with a big chunk of sprouted bread. Yum 😋

The vegan restaurants in Ubud & Canggu are next level 😍 Now I understand people who mostly come here because of the food 😅🙏🏼 Healthy, affordable & delicious 😋👌🏼 @cafeorganicbali definitely is one of my favorites. They have 3 places around Canggu. If you don’t feel like healthy burgers then order the nourish bowl, trust me 😇👌🏼

The two types of muscle ups I use.
For strength/low volume, I love doing the Cali muscle up. My focus is the false grip and engaging my lats for the pull. For volume and efficiency, it’s the second. Utilising the kip, focus is trying to get my hips as close to the bar as possible and a big shift in weight over the bar.
Lots to clean up still at least I’ve got both in the bag. Good day at training
Need some color in your life? Just as the products we use are incredibly important to our internal beauty; so are the foods we eat. Have you thought of the impact the foods you eat have on your skin? It’s definitely an interesting thing to consider. I’ve been vegan for 2 1/2 years and it’s the best food path for me. Everyone is different, but consider eating plant based. You never know the effect it might have on your skin.

The question is: Do we know our bodies?
What they are made from, how they work and how can we help the Body become the most energetic, healthy, in balance, emotionally stable, powerful and easy adjustable to circumstances?
How to help it heal itself and become a channel of the energies that surround us in the Universe?
The physical Body, far from being all we are is merely a densest, most extended visible part of a much greater mechanism. When one become aware of how astonishing and magnificent the “Body” is, life takes another level of existence.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine focus is on the "The body's vital energy ( chi' or qi') that circulates through channels, called Meridians, that have branches connected to bodily organs and functions. The Meridians are pathways(channels) in which QI- energy and blood in the human body are circulated. They connect to the” Zang fu”( expl. down below) Interiorly and extend over the body exteriorly, forming a network and linking the tissues and organs into an organic whole. If we would like to pick point where exactly these meridians are going through ? the answer would be between the FASCIA. Every meridian is connected to an organ that carries a particular emotion. If its out of the balance these emotions will manifest and express in daily life. (fear anger, anxiety, depression, sadness, guilt) Blockages in Meridians can lead to health imbalances and diseases.
In TCM- Body, mind and spirit is integrated and works as a Whole.
The "qi" or the energy is focused on "Zang Fu". "ZANG" presents Yin organs end energy which is connected from roots of the Mother Earth and its connecting to sole of our feet coming up all the way to the knees, hips, pelvic floor, into the stomach spreading to the heart. Yin energy is feminine energy and
Yin organs are: Heart, Liver, Lungs, spleen, kidneys. "FU" presents Yang organs and energy that comes from the Universe down to our scalp, through our head down towards the throat into the chest and meeting Yin energy in the Hearth center . Yang energy represents Masculine energy.

How many vegans we got homies!? 🌱❤️🌎🤔 •
Thank you to our sponsor @kiostoreofficial for providing the softest most fuego 🔥 vegan merch in the game 😅👀 ayyyyeeeooo lol
Made by plants 🌱 or made in a plant 🏭Both contain the same calories yet one is made by Mother Nature from the sun + soil + carbon dioxide + minerals from scratch. The other is engineered by food scientists in white coats in a plant + spending £s on marketing campaigns and food label health claims.
The right side is composed of the ingredients > information for trillions of cells and even x10 more trillion cells for our Microbiota naturally high with fibre and Polyphenols without any health claims. Also, where we spend our money is another consideration. Supporting Kellogg’s or a fruit producer in the U.K. or a sustainable practises and roots elsewhere will serve the plant well giving back more.
It’s more than just calorie equation for health with a by product of feeling great on the inside and outside.
Vanilla Pea protein
The other is a sugar laden with 4 different types of sugar under different names. Dried fruit with more added sugar.
Vegetable fats being palm and sunflower oil. Inflammatory for our cell membranes.
Essentially little nutrients and empty calories. Yet, it still preaches high fibre and low fat on buses and adverts in magazines to the general public portrayed as friendly functional choice.

What did I change??? Let me break it down for you...
After a cancer scare during my senior year of college, I read Dr. T Colin Cambell's book, "The China Study," and immediately adopted a whole-food, plant-based diet.
But my journey didn't stop there.
I soon learned about the ethical and moral implications of our lifestyles choices and went 100% vegan.
I felt AMAZING, but I really struggled to build muscle, shred fat, and get ripped.
To make matters worse, everyone told me that I couldn't get into the best shape of my life as a vegan.
For a while, they were right.
But after 2 years of struggling to prove them wrong, all the pieces finally fell into place.
The two main things that I changed were:
1) I switched from lightweight training focused on accessory lifts to heavy compound weightlifting focused on the squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead press.
2) I increased my protein intake from around 60 grams per day to 150+ grams per day.
In the photo on the left, I'm 180 lb (82 kg) at 22% body fat.
In the photo on the right, I'm 167 lb (76 kg) at 9% body fat.
So between these two photos, I gained around 12 lb of lean body mass and lost about 25 lb of fat.
Yes, I'm actually LIGHTER on the right, despite looking much stronger and more muscular.
That's the power of changing your body composition! 💪🌱
Now here’s how I can help YOU achieve the same transformation... I just published a YouTube video that will teach you all the research behind the optimal protein target to get ripped.
It's the first link in the description.
You should also join the waitlist for my upcoming book Vegan Fat Shredding Secrets, which launches in just a few weeks! It’s the second link in the description.
I'm giving away the first 1,000 copies of my book for FREE! So please don't wait if you want a copy because they’re almost gone.
If you have any questions about my transformation, please post a comment below and I'll help you out!
And just FYI, I'm a lot stronger and more muscular now than the picture on the right, just not as lean 😂😉

Bulking is harder mentally than anything else. Eating the the extra food and lifting the extra weight is the easy part for me; but after having been overweight for years the voice inside my head is the hardest to overcome. I’m making great size and strength gains but the extra weight brings back many insecurities from my heavier days. I have to remind myself daily that this is intentional and that negative self talk has no place in my journey anymore. Excited to see what this leg of my journey will bring out in my physique, just have to keep pushing forward even when it feels wrong. I guess I just wanted to share this so that you all know that no matter what your level of fitness or positivity your self talk can really drag you down or lift you up. In every situation try to be positive, your thoughts affect your actions and your outcomes! Have a beautiful day, much love you to all ❤️

Just for fun! Not taking life too seriously, however living with intention. No worries when things go different than expected. Release of emotions when necessary. Accepting of all versions of myself. Not hung up on past mistakes, live & learn. Impossible to flatline at happy all the time, but I know peace is always with me. I suffer, but i know it’s just another thing to create around. The lows include the highs and the highs include the lows, the separation is only created in the mind. Self-development, self-love, awakening aren’t real goals, they are just ideas. I just want experience, I just want reality, I just want life as it is. Experience will develop me, I don’t need to try to do it. Reality will present love to me, I don’t need to try and seek it. Life will awaken me, i don’t need to force myself out of sleep. So I’m just going to let go and have fun with what is

Been #vegan for over 5 years now and I haven’t withered away from #protein deficiency yet, contrary to to popular #broscience belief🤷🏻♂️ The fact is you can get everything you need from a #plantbased diet ranging from all of the protein and amino acids needed for musculature, strength and performance as well as every vitamin, mineral and nutrient you need for optimal well-being. Think about it, the animals that are eaten for sustenance get their nutrients from plants, when you go through the animal to get those nutrients you are also getting the cholesterol, the carcinogens, the acidity and the cruelty / #animalabuse that comes along with it. The fact is, if you can get everything you need without hurting animals and destroying the planet in the process why wouldn’t you? #Veganism is the future & the future is now!🌱✌️ #GoVegan.
🌱How long have you been vegan!? comment below and let me know!🙌
💫 FAQ Ansewrs: ☑️yes, not only can you get all of the protein you need but also a complete and abundant amino acid profile for #gains.
☑️B12 does not come from animals, by and large it comes from the supplements fed to animals. Therefore rather than obtaining it secondhand from the animal you can retrieve it from the source with optimal bio-availability via supplements.
☑️Yes I’m vegan & im probably stronger than you🤷🏻♂️🤪
☑️ #plantbasednutrition is actually #cleaneating
