An adult Bald eagle banks right as it prepares to land and feed. The Bald eagle, on average, is the largest eagle in the U.S., slightly edging out the Golden eagle. Utah is a wintering area for migrating Bald eagles that move down from the north. They spend the winter months along the Wasatch front where there hunt and scavenge for food. Their diet ranges from fish to deer. They don’t seem to be too picky. 📷@jc_wings
And now back to our regular programming...
This guy was so sad while I played in #japow. I feel guilty as well as special. No one loves you more than a #canine. Because I brought the #snow back with me, we can have all sorts of fun this weekend and catch up on time lost. Oh, and if you cant tell, it's 3 am in #utah. #jetlaglife
Back to work 🏋🏼♀️ // Getting back into intense training after a break is always awkward and tough. You feel rusty, the rhythm seems off, and the dose of realism on your watch can be frustrating. I like to ease back in by starting workouts in an "off" location – one that I don’t do the bulk of my intense training – and measuring effort by time/feel rather than distance/pace. This is usually only for the first week back, but it helps shift the focus without being too demoralizing. // 📸 @dancampbellphoto
