When saffron taxi van is commissioned to do a clearance we don't just collect and dispose of items. We sort 90% of items and wood, metal, cardboard and glass, gets sent to the appropriate places for recycling. Any thing that we can find a new home for gets sorted and stored in our warehouses and we spend the time to advertise to find new homes for items. So next time you book in a man with a van business for clearance, choose one that does more than just dispose of your unwanted items in landfill which is completely irresponsible. www.facebook.com/saffrontaxivan 07766651845 or 07501875399 the company that cares about our environment for this generation and the next generation

I think love is so often mistaken for attention... Do you ever walk away from someone feeling completely energised or quite the opposite? Interactions between people can be such power struggles without even trying or realising in the moment. It’s our human nature to always win but life simply is not a race. I’m trying my very best to be slower.. something special is always right in front of you 💛✨.
Psst although its getting colder, we want to share this image of our upcycled shirt dress. Why? Because it can travel to the sun! See our stories for a lovely picture of our summer dress in Curacao! @manonproper is on a well deserved holiday with her twins AND triplets! And psst by reusing existing clothes you save 30% of water usage🙏🐟💦 so we are ready to reuse your preloved shirts!
Eating spoon day at the tree craft workshop today.
It’s so wonderful to walk in each evening and see a kind community carving out different objects from a tree. Rohan has come home so excited each evening, buzzing with all the new techniques and ideas he’s learned. There must be something beautiful about people who create magic with their hands. ✨
So...I'm not sure I'm keen on the term "upcycle"...but here's my New Years Eve project. Converting an unprepossessing office table into a coffee table with a faux Pietra dura specimen marble top in the style of early 19th century Florentine work. The formica top was keyed with glass paper, sprayed with car lacquer then "decoupaged" with 400 pieces of laser Printed paper representing 20 types of marble. A long Saturday with the PVA then three coats of diamond hard varnish. Total cost £32.
