What an amazing night last night was, what a privilege to be able to cook with @smclchef & @russellplowman and celebrate some of Chef Andrew Fairlie's ironic dishes. World class ingredients cooked with the upmost respect and skill, it is a service I will never forget ❤ #UpCloseAndPersonal@tf_chefstable

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda 🇺🇬
This magnificent creature is one of the biggest Schlegel’s Beaked Blind Snake I have ever seen.
Yesterday as we went out on a nice and crisp morning drive with @simbavati_safari
we started off by doing some fantastic birding as it was starting off to be quiet out there, but nonetheless, it’s when it’s so quiet out there that one gets to see the smaller gems of this vast expanse of wilderness.
This creature was spotted on the side of the road.
I have posted a photo of these critters before but a very young blue-ish adult about the thickness of my pinky and about 10cm long. . As they get older they start to turn more into a yellow tinted color. So so cool seeing this termite eater out and about! It was almost the length of my forearm and half the thickness.
The bush amazes me every day and so it should us all looking for adventure, peace, serenity or reflection xxx
The Monotonous Lark’s are such choir birds this time of the year. 😁
In the apothecary cabinet: Lavender
Lavender is by far, one of my most used and loved ingredients in the apothecary cabinet, and has a lot of really amazing uses and benefits. Lavender can be used in potions, ointments, and baths to promote things like restful sleep, can offer protection, encourage love, generate purification, encourage visions, help attract men, and aid in the clarity of thought.
Lavender is such an excellent aromatic and usually mixes well with other floral scents like Jasmine and Rose. Historically lavender was throw Grn onto the Midsummer fires by Witches as a sacrifice to the ancient gods.
Here are my top four uses for one of my favorite ingredients:
1. Use it to enhance your dreamwork (sleep sachet!) 2. Use it to symbolize the divine feminine and use it to liberally in beauty and glamour spells
3. Burn it! Works so well mixed with essential oils and set to burn on a charcoal disc, or burn it in a smudge stick (a great alternative to sage) 4. Add to your ritual bath to induce a calm, otherworldly feeling before you enter the circle.

Up Close & Personal with the cast of Schitt's Creek! The highlight was definitely hearing Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara sing God Loves a Terrier 😂
